We've stayed and played at LRCR many times and have never been disappointed! The dealers and floor personnel are knowledgeable and fun, despite the ups and downs over the past year during this crazy pandemic. The food choices are somewhat limited due to Covid restrictions, but the options that are open really deliver on service and quality. The rooms are nice, and the beds are comfy. We'll definitely go back!!

I recently decided to go on a getaway week away after being pretty much home bound outside of Chicago. Getting into the car and driving out into the Country suddenly unfroze my brain and I was pleasantly surprised at the immediately welcoming spirit of the Little River Casino Resort just outside of Manistee. From the friendliness of the Door / Bell Man, Rich to the Front Desk Staff welcome of Hilary and Alexa. I had reserved a King Deluxe room and the Front Desk explained that they didn't have that room type immediately available. They were honest and straightforward about the fact that they were overbooked (10 years+ in the Hotel industry, prepared me for this) and that their Supervisor Sean would be able to resolve it the next day. The original room they put me in was very nice so there was no disappointment there. The next day, I did meet Sean who did let me know that he would have my room type, took my cell number and called me when the room was ready. He arranged for another Bell man, Mark to move my things for me, which was done not only quickly but things were set up in the room - something an old Hotel man can certainly appreciate. Sean also offered some comp nights which was a pleasant and delightful surprise. Of course as a gambler, I realize no offers at a casino are exactly free however, was still very appreciative. -- I was at the Resort and Casino for 8 nights and enjoyed the setup, including the beautiful courtyard with fire pits lit at night to the delicious food in both the River Rock restaurant and the Rapids Bistro. Safety appeared to be a priority as all of the staff wore masks as well as all of the Guests. They was more than adequate signage indicating nobody could enter the building without wearing a mask and this was checked at the entrances as well as temperatures taken. There were some services that were not available such as Room Service, The Buffet (obviously) and no Housekeeping service (room makeup - extra supplies were delivered upon request). I did take advantage of the Casino which was nice because there didn't appear to be any lack of machines but rather spread out in the layout. I actually did very well on mostly Wheel of Fortune machines as well as Video Poker. -- I also have to say the Manistee area was so beautiful this time of year with the colors coming out and peaking towards the end of my stay. There was a slight shortage of available places to eat due to both the Pandemic and being Off-Season however, utilizing Google Maps, I found some really homey Cafe's a short drive away in Henrietta. MI (Chandlers - Wonderful !!) and Onekama, MI. The Lake Michigan beaches in Manistee also were some of the most gorgeous I have seen. I also did some fishing and almost caught something large ("the one that got away ...") and spent many evenings watching the picturesque sunsets. -- Overall, the week was delightful and I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Also, I'm not usually one for eating every day at the hotel I stay at as I like to get out and explore, go to the River Rock restaurant for breakfast and order the biscuits and gravy - DELICIOUS !!. Bonus - on the road on the way back to Chicago, stopped at a fruit stand and picked up some blueberries left over from the Summer season and delicious fresh-picked apples, which I am still enjoying. Close 4- 4 1/2 hour drive and airport hassle free vacation.

My wife and I came for (3) days. The hotel is very nice in the common areas. Our carpet in our room was filthy (1212). Due to COVID there are only 2 choicesto eat (a small deli that was decent for lunch and the restaurant in Sportsbook,) which I would avoid, we ate here twice .... not good. I recommend eating off property. There is no room service during your stay. You’ll have to catch housekeeping for towels and anything else. The casino is tight. It is located 10 minutes from Manistee and 40 minutes from Frankfurt. We will probably come again.

Our room was nice, clean. Comfy bed. Check in staff was very nice and helpful. The casino had plenty of slots, hand sanitizer stations, fun place. We won, we lost. We did see others win. Great location.
