This is a lovely Bed & Breakfast inside and out. We had a very peaceful and comfortable stay. Everything was clean and plenty of things to do in the surrounding cities. I loved the beauty of the property. We will stay there again. The price was very reasonable.

The Owners, The Gahrig's are lovely inne keepers. They own a beautifully appointed inne and were very accommodating. I stayed in the room which has it's own entrance and it was wonderful-I did not encounter any of the issues others have posted. Although I visited in the fall/winter 2013, the home and area were great: clean and safe. I would... More

Beautifully kept farmhouse full of antiques yet with all the modern conveniences. Innkeepers were most friendly and food was excellent. An in-ground pool is a available for swimming or lounging on summer visits. The town of Marshall is a few short miles away with it's historic homes, great restaurants and antique stores.

The Olde Farmhouse was the fourth B&B we stayed at on our way home from Canada. It was the worst experience of our trip. We were barely welcomed by our host who didn't even bother to show us to the room (newly finished room separate from main house). The room was nicely furnished- except there were sheer curtains on door... More

We were celebrating our 23rd anniversary and we stayed in the newly finished room separate from the main house. Instead of spending our anniversary evening resting peacefully, we spent the night listening to some type of animal in the wall or ceiling scratching and knawing from approximately 1:30 am until 6:30 am. We even tried to drown out the noise... More

Quiet farmhouse B&B with pristine swimming pool, surrounded by fields, flowers and barns. Hosts were helpful without being intrusive. A great retreat for a hot summer evening. We got a reduced rate since it was a weekday, making it a bargain.

The Olde Farmhouse is not only a great place to stay, but an excellent location for a wedding. Perfect location for those who have families in Detroit and Chicago as it is centrally located. The old barn as a backdrop for wedding photos and the party is terrific. The hosts are friendly and warm, and feel like family. The breakfasts... More

The Olde Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast was a great place for three sisters from Michigan and Indiana to gather for a weekend. Did not miss being in town at all. Wonderful hostess, so friendly and welcoming. Comfy private rooms, nice setting.

We stay in B&Bs fairly often and this was one of our favorites. We loved the Rose Room, with all the lovely details, the breakfasts and the delicious brownies that John and Mary put out for us for an afternoon snack. We thought we would miss being right in the town of Marshall, but the farmhouse is an easy 10... More

We recently stayed at "The Olde Farmhouse B/B"....the location is rural and very tranquil....but within easy driving distance to Marshall and Battle Creek. The property is very well maintained, lovely old farmhouse painstakingly restored to its original beauty. Very clean. Our bedroom suite better than we anticipated. Our host was very accomodating and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious!! We hope... More

“Do not recommend staying in the new room that is separate from the main house. Breakfast was delicious, thank goodness for a good meal after a sleepless night.”

“The garden room has a bath across the hall- not directly accessible without leaving the room. Don't choose this room if that would be a problem for you. Also, this tub is old fashioned, claw with a curtain that surrounds it for a shower. Don't choose this room if stepping up and into the tub is a problem. It was not for us, but could be for others.”
