I've seen many reviews already about how nice and large the rooms are, as well as peaceful and relaxing. But I haven't seen many regarding how it's run like a family. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the team is very hands on.. The GM Rob and coworker Nico were extremely attentive to our needs made me feel like I was also part of the Holiday Inn family. Grateful for their help and recommend this hotel!

My spouse and I had the pleasure of spending two nights at this Holiday Inn Express for New Year's 2021 (we arrived the afternoon of New Year's Eve and checked out the day after New Year's Day). Altogether, we were quite pleased. Our check-in process went fairly smoothly, but we did run into a little glitch because the room we were first assigned to was not ready... so we had to return to the front desk and ask for a different room. Not a huge deal, and the front desk clerk was very apologetic. The room we ended up in (#324) was clean and comfortable... no problems at all. I appreciated that the business computers in the lobby were available for use, so I was able to use them to catch up on my social media during our stay. We also appreciated the fact that the indoor pool was open. (Of course, we wished it would have had a hot tub too... but we knew in advance that there was no hot tub, so again... no biggie.) One of the significant changes during the COVID-19 pandemic is the fact that the normal breakfast setup is not available. We ended up getting takeout from two restaurants nearby and bringing the food back to the hotel to eat. For a couple of our takeout meals, the hotel staff allowed us to eat those meals in what's normally the breakfast area, which we were grateful for because it allowed us to eat at a table facing each other... which was not possible in our room. Altogether, our stay was very pleasant. I would certainly like to return to this property and stay here again after the pandemic is over... if I find myself needing a place to stay in Monroe again. Thanks to the staff for giving us a great stay to celebrate New Year's!…

Large comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. Cribs available. Amazing hot breakfast included. Fresh made pancakes, eggs, juices. Fresh coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not much to do in the area. We were there for a wedding.

Hotel was clean and in a good location. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the cell service (att) in the hotel was very poor. Nice big TV and a desk to do work at in room.

Easy to get to and clean! Rooms are very modern. Had a coffee pot, microwave and fridge. They have an impressive breakfast (pancakes, muffins, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, bagels, etc). Great of traveling with family so can save $ on breakfast. They even had to go bags so you could take snacks with you! There was a great white board set up in lobby giving great information on what was within a reasonable distance! Very friendly staff!
