Tried to visit the restaurant for an unscheduled, spontaneous lunch, but faced unmotivated, inflexible staff. Overpriced compared to other, comparable restaurants nearby. Won´t visit again. Possible higher focus hotel guests and less interest in the restaurant business.
This is by far one of The Most extraordinary trips that we have been to, the stay was extra phenomenal , the rooms were very clean and comfortable, all the facilities were there and we didn't need anything extra. The service is a whole different story, there wasn't a thing that we needed that wasn't granted in seconds. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the food was mouth watering and the stay was overall superb. We were hesitant at first about the hygiene but to our surprise , it was squeaky clean and the pool was sanitized daily. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely repeat it! And a special thanks for organizing the whole stay to perfection.
Went there as part of a retreat, spent the day at the activities center, crop picking and planting and it was THE best part of the trip. Super helpful staff and was SO much fun! Highley recommended stop
We came for 3 nights for a change sorely needed, with so many of our friends passing away as a result of coronavirus and living in fear of getting it! We arrived early afternoon. The receptionist Mohamed, who was very polite and friendly, showed us around explaining the facilities. We are staying in number 12, which is a suite with a garden and you can partly see the lake. It’s high up on a hill so there’s green and trees then the lake. The best thing about the place is the people. A previous review complained about not getting breakfast when they arrived after 10.00 am. Well, I think in most places it’s the same. Last night, we arrived a little before 7.00pm, but after changing clothes it was 7.08 pm. When I called to check I was told dinner is over, but we ordered room service. In fact, this was better for us because it’s an open air restaurant and it was getting cold. If you want the room to be cleaned, you must ask for it, because it isn’t done automatically. My husband is an excellent cook, and we both enjoyed the food. The only advice is to ask for the feteer meshaltet to be done with bread flour, because it is usually done wit refined flour and for some reason this makes it chewy. They arranged for the Safari with Mohamed, which is a must even for retired people like us it was amazing, don’t miss it. Today, we are still here and will be spending the day chilling out in Kom el Dikka.…
