Our experience (2 adults, one child) was completely disasterous: The hotel advertises as a luxury resort (and for sure bills like one) but the overall experience we had was terrible and by far not according to the advertised standard. on the positive side were: - a modern gym with excellent, brand new equipment and a beutiful beach view) - a nice location by the beach - the quality of food during the dinner ... but ... negatice aspects were: A) general service: - the staff hardly speaks english - a uniquely unfriendly and unwelcoming atmosphere right from the reception to the restaurant staff to about everyone else working at the hotel. i.e.: the minibar fridge was empty, room service took almost an hour to bring 2 (!) new satchets of nescafe (coffee tray was not aedequately stacked upon arrival), no extras whatsoever during the set breakfast (wich was of exceptionally poor quality), WiFi terrible slow unless you pay for a better connection, ... B) lack of facilities literally EVERYTHING was closed: no bar, no restaurants, no coffeshop, no activities, no food available outside the pre-set dinner and breakfast menues, spa was opened only upon request, kids club was closed, minibar was completely empty, all beach facilities closed/not available i.e. towels, drinks, chairs/benches, indoor pool was insufficiently maintained and unheated, outdoor pools outright filthy, no towels inside the spa or the gym, no drinks (not even water) available either, ... C) dirty The rooms were smelly - especially the closets, the floors were sticky, the pools (even the indoor pool) were murky and filled with plastic trash, the floors of the spa - even inside the sauna and the showers - were covered in rubble and paint flakes, the gym was dusty, plumbing in the room was leaking, the minibar-fridge was moldy and smelly, the kids-club was dreadful, dark, smelly and unwelcoming, ... D) pricing The hotel boldly asks for a 5 star price without offering ANY of the expected services. Some (but surely not all) of the above could be tolerated during off-season if the hotel would adjust the pricing accordingly... For approx 250 ,- USD/night you can get WAY better services for lower prices just a few kilometers away that easily hold up to your expectations. Recommendation to travellers: avoid this hotel! Recommendation to the hotel: close entirely during off season or massively reduce your prices - and you definitely need to massively train your staff to hold up to your name/category...…
Beautiful beach. Next best thing to the caribbean. Great location for exploring. Went to El Alehmein and Cairo. Both great trips. Lots to do at night and staff are super freindly. They remember everyone and everything. Great food and safe. The only one thing i thought was a negative was the travellers were segragted. Didnt gel together as good as it could. A variety of people but a lot of dutch and german which tend to take over. Definately worth a visit.
Very good location choice for a very well designed resort. I enjoyed everything from room to restaurant and above all the beach. The personnel is well trained and available. Food is good and service is very good.
Wow just wow I enjoyed everything in this resort the view was amazing the room was clean and comfortable the breakfast was very delicious and rich the staff was friendly and gave us gifts while checking out
Where do I even begin? Me and my family were welcomed from the get go by Mira on the concierge who met all of our needs from day one. The hotel was basically empty but we were extremely spoilt by chef Hamada who made us bespoke dishes daily. Hands down the best food that we’ve eaten in Egypt rating 20/10. Shokran ya hamada. Thank you to the waiters Ahmed and Mohamed who always made us smile. The beach was absolutely beautiful... crystal clear waters and the whole resort was picturesque. Definitely recommend it to all.
