We spent three nights here after a fairly exhausting night in Etosha. It provided a superbly restful environment in which we could totally relax but was close (8 km) to the Von Lindequist Gate to dip in and out of the Etosha Park. Our luxury tented accommodation did not disappoint - was wonderfully comfortable with effective air conditioning. The overall...

We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend. We were disappointed. No choice of menu, no sun shades for the pool area, they eventually appeared after making a scene. Service culture had not reached this lodge. Etosha fabulous.

I agree with the previous two reviews, that this place despite being on the upper end of tourist accommodation, "something intangible" was missing there. We simply did not feel that "welcomed" and that African "warmth" we had in most other lodges in Namibia was not felt here. The main area was beautifully decorated and the individual chalets had all the...

We stayed one night at Mushara Outpost and one at Mushara Lodge due to room availability. Outpost is the higher priced luxury property in the Musharra suite of Lodge, Outpost and Bushcamp but the lodge wins hands down. Positives at Outpost: - lovely reception area with stylish decor and plenty of comfortable seating Negatives: - individual chalets are usually desirable...

This lodge is beautiful, the reception, restaurant and terrace area tastefully furnished. The tented lodges are attractive but on the small side. I loved it that you could lower the canvas on the outside of the shower, leaving only the glass between you and the bush, with the odd impala or oryx passing by. The siting of the tents assures...

What a shame! The lodge and the tents are beautiful but the service fails it. The properly doesn't seem to have any proper management and has been left to 3 young girls (although pleasant enough ) to arrange everything. They lack the attention to detail, attentiveness snd enthusiasm we experienced at other lodges like the &beyond dessert lodge and Mowani....

We flew into Etosha from Swakopmund with friends and from the moment we were greeted at the airstrip, we were provided top-notch service. I loved that Mushara Outpost only had 8 guest "tents" so you always felt like you were in a secluded place (which is the point if you're going into the bush!) The food was delicious, including the...

Beautiful main lodge, Great food, very friendly and professional service. Nice rooms. Superb way to visit Etosha East, where we saw a great rhino and probably the most varied safari in Namibia. Worth every penny.

A warm friendly reception by a staff who proved outstanding during our 3 nights stay. The main lodge building is beautiful and meals were served at individual tables dotted around the edge overlooking the warthogs, squirrels and game. The rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable even if the balconies don't have much of an outlook. The food was good,...

What a gorgeous facility! The "tents" are wonderfully private and luxurious, and the main lodge where you meet and eat is stunning. The small campfire adjacent to lodge which the staff lights up right before you return from your sundowner is a great accent, and the perfect place to share a glass of wine or two before dinner. Great food,...
