Lovely resort but lots of walking up hills / stairs involved. Sadly most of the staff are in party mode busy on their phones, sitting around watching TV in the bar, talking & mucking around with each other and totally ignoring all the guests. Food is very, very average. Reception staff are just plain rude and should be replaced with...

Once again, trying to book a NWR (Government run Namibia Wildlife Resort) lodge is a nightmare. We stayed in 3 and I cannot tell you how many phone calls and emails it took before I found someone who was somewhat efficient and communicated with you on a timely basis. Arriving at Dolomite Camp the nightmare continued. The location and concept...

The lodge is fantastic with a scenic view. But it looks like the lodge needs a renovation and the staff is unprofessional and not motivated. It feels like the staff makes you a favour that you can stay there for a lot of money. The price/value balance is not worth it. We love Namibia and the Etosha NP is a...

The view and spot is amazing, poolside is nice too! ...that's it! Dinner was almost ok. Salad, 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber and some smoked salmon as an appetizer... No comment on this. Main dish was a well cooked steak and some vegetables... Ok. Dessert: kind of a cake, not eatable. Service is ok, though you do...

Good position on a hill overlooking the plains. The rooms are fairly well spread out and private and the facilities in the room are fine. A bit rustic and tired, but no huge issues to mention. But the whole place lacks something. Service is average at best and not delivered with a smile unfortunately. I don't remember the food being...

A very special camp with one of the mosy beatiful settings in Etosha Park. A pity though that it seems there are no proper management present. The service is very poor to say the least and the food on offer need urgent attention. The chef has no imagination on how to prepare food. The camp itself are in dire need...

A beautifull designed tented camp, high in the mountains. Nice common grounds, amazing shaped rooms (tents) with perfect comfort, good views..... BUT..... as you know, this is a property of NWR, the state owned lodge organisation. And when you say "state owned", you get "unmotivated people", lack of maintenance, unfriendly staff.... Although we had a PERFECT tent with amazing views,...

Unlike the main camps in Etosha this isn't fenced in but other than baboons and rock Dassie we didn't see animals inside the camp. It really is a luxury camp. We had just outstanding views from our room terrace onto the plain below, and spent a long time looking at so many animals below us - elephants, giraffe, kudu, eland,...

Compared to the 3 biggest camp Dolomite Camp is a small luxurious camp. However, the price is still acceptable and definitely worth it! All rooms are private chalets, built on a hill, with a stunning view over Etosha. Dolomite Camp gave us one of our most memorable moments: we were sitting on our balcony, watching the sunset while elpehants, zebras...

Very sad that a camp with this most amazing scenery (on a hill, overlooking waterholes and a vast plain all around you) and infrastructure (must have cost a fortune to build) has become so run-down after only a few years... Typically unmotivated government staff does not contribute to this once-gem.. Stay privately outside Etosha National Park, you'll be much better...
