This is a tranquil lodge about 1.5 kilometres off the main road to Etosha Park. It gets 5 stars for location, spaciousness, friendlyness and greeness with a watering hole to view animals. The room decor is also excellent with good bathroom facilities. Food is above average and dinner and breakfast are included. On the negative side, the chaltes that have...

We stayed two nights, they gave us two adjacent bungalows for a reasonable price. The garden is magnificent, the position very good, close to Namutoni bridge. The food is too oily and greasy, restaurant is too dark and with limited choice. Pool cannot be used with the quality of water we found.

Emanya is one of the lodges near Etosha National Park and in my opinion one of the better ones. We also stayed a night at Mokuti, but liked it better at Emanya, as there were far less people, a nicer pool area and most of all, a waterhole from which you could encounter many different wild visitors, such as eland,...

Having read some of the recent reviews we arrived with some trepidation as to what lay ahead. The reality was the best place we have stayed comparing more than favourably with more expensive places. Yes, you have to open two gates to arrive but is that so difficult? Yes the huge poster series on the wall behind the bar might...

The good- Great food, pretty hotel grounds, pretty rooms The bad- Undertrained, understaffed, unappreciated and clearly miserable staff. The pool was a grey slushy sludge filled with dead insects. Virtually no security. Doors and windows have no screens so if the power goes out you either have to bake in your room or open the doors/windows and get destroyed by...

Breathtaking design, huge chalets with high ceilings, attentive service, relaxing ambiance, excellent value for money. Was being reopened at time of visit and therefore pool water needed cleaning. We spontaneously decided to spend another night. And would go back any time.

Having travelled to plenty of lodges in Namibia, I was disappointed with Emanya. To get straight to the point: Positives -quiet, cozy place for some real R&R -beautiful surroundings with great views of the watering hole -comfortable beds and sheets Negatives: -Gates to the lodge open manually and no assistance for guests whatsoever -The place is neglected- chipped paint on...

In general, the place is neglected. For a place built only a few years ago, it is quite scary to be honest. It is literally falling apart. Paint is fading, glass doors are cracked, wall paper is coming off, waterhole viewing area has wonderful furniture that is not kept. The food was the worst part, for an area like this,...

Unfortunately, we felt quite disappointed with our stay at Emanya after two nights there. The hotel is located amazingly close to the Etosha National Park (approx. 20 minutes drive) and looks very modern from the outside. Overall, it seemed that the property was missing some maintenance. Colours were fading out, electrical cables were lying around on the ground and the...

Wow...this beautiful, stylish, friendly and intimate hotel is exactly what you need at Etosha, we would HIGHLY recommend you to choose this place for any Etosha visit. Positives It's 11km from Etosha gate, 30km from the first watering hole, it's close enough for it to never be a problem if your plan is to visit Etosha most days of your...
