The decoration of the room and the communal areas are amazing and incredibly tasteful. The food was excellent and the internet in the rooms were very fast. The staff were excellent and its only a short ride to the national park gate which has a plethora of animals. Our guide, Esmerelda, was brilliant and I would highly recommend her. Its...

The name "Mushara Lodge " derives from the purple pod Terminalia tree which grows in the lodge grounds and surrounding area. The 2500 ha farm Kleinbegin was bought by the Pampe family in 1991 and in 1996 they decided to build a lodge. Opened in 1998 and there were further extensions in 2003. The decor is an electic mix of...

This lodge was a delight. Everything from the rooms, comfort of the beds, food, decor, staff, refreshing and clean pool, was excellent. Lots of birds, squirrels, wart hogs, small buck around the property. Definitely a place to stay close to Etosha.

Friendly welcome, beautiful reception area with rooms to match. Meal service was impeccable and absolute pleasure to stay in this lodge. The rooms were a short walk to the main reception and outside dining area. Need to have mosquito repellant when dining outside in the evening. There were no scenic views from around the hotel due to the local vegetation....

One of the best stays on our trip. This is classed as "medium" by our operator. We think that Mushara is "first class". The lodge (part of a small local group) is a few km from the Etosha park. Rooms are lovely, in round huts with fantastic beds and bathrooms, and pretty little veranda. The swimming pool is substantial, set...

We spent three wonderful nights here. Our chalet was stunning, elegantly furnished, and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptional and certainly went the 'extra mile' we had a puncture after returning from a game drive and two maintenance men helped my husband change the tyre, which was no mean feat at 40c. They even repaired the puncture for us. Dinner...

We arrived in Mushara Lodge after a very long day in Etosha. We were tired and dusty and were so happy have arrived. Check in was smooth and friendly, we appreciated the porter taking all our luggage to our room. Th room was spacious and elegantly decorated in colonial style. We particularly enjoyed the shower with plenty of hot water....

After all the dust in Etosha, Mushara is Heaven. Great lobby, great chalets (very big) and a lovely pool area. Very English. The service was very good. We had diner in the Boma where they prepared a braai. They thought about my food allergy and had a special pan for me. The only thing we were a little disappointed by...
