I stayed at Hotel Heritage for 3 nights with a few of my friends and it was honestly one of the finest experiences I have ever endured in my years of travelling. The staff there were extremely knowledgeable of the city and were thus able to help us plan our whole trip. What really surprised me was how nice and...

Hotel Heritage definitely stands out from the rest in Bhaktapur. Friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant with delicious food - but what makes Hotel Heritage so unique is its dedication to preserving and representing its Nepali roots through its decor and architecture, with labels to show how old the objects are. You will not have to worry about anything here...

I had recently booked a stay in Bhaktapur at a different hotel. I had to cancel it due to other circumstances. I decided to stay at Hotel Heritage in Bhaktapur. I had always wanted to see the famous temples in Red Square. Hotel Heritage is extremely close to the old part of town. So, it made sense to stay there....

Every piece of the hotel is built with pieces that are 50-200 years old, the manager told us as he gave us a tour of the hotel. The hotel is really well built with a lot of the bricks having dates from the nepalese calendar written into them. The rooms, while a bit pricy, are completely worth the cost as...

So glad to see that this hotel has withstood the tragedy of April's earthquake. We stayed overnight at Hotel Heritage in October 2014. It's located a short walk outside the pedestrianised centre of Bhaktapur. The bedroom was large and traditionally furnished, and the bathroom was well laid out. We can't comment on the food in the restaurant as we ate...

While staying in Nepal, a friend of mine and I were guests at Hotel Heritage in Bhaktapur for 4 night. Our stay was right after the earthquake and we were happy to have a place, such as the Hotel Heritage to stay. We felt safe and secure and didn't have to worry about anything until we could leave the country....

My organization stayed at Hotel Heritage for 5 weeks after the devastating 2015 earthquake in Nepal. We chose this location because the hotel withstood both powerful earthquakes with absolutely no damage, due to the owner taking all the necessary precautions during building to make it earthquake proof. In addition, the hotel had excellent security and was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful....

This hotel has all of my favorite things--beautiful, eclectic design (aspects from all over Nepal, and the world). The rooms are beautiful, comfortable beds; there is hot water in a beautifully designed bathroom. Clean. WiFi service. Convenient location for a base within the city/country. A staff that treat you like a very honored guest, most speak very passable English. The...

We arrived at the Hotel Heritiage on 4/25/15--the day of the Nepal earthquake. For the next 3 days we considered the Hotel as our sanctuary. Mr. Dhaubhadel and his staff provided us with excellent service, despite the difficult circumstances. The hotel was built to withstand a 10.0 earthquake, so we felt very safe in the building. The hotel is gorgeous--Mr....

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel in April 2015 and loved it. It is built in traditional style using recycled building materials and oozes charm. Our room was a good size and was spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent, without exception they were friendly and charming, We ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings and found the food...
