This is a Japanese style hotel. You get your choice of Western style or tatami rooms. The hotel is spotless, the staff is gracious. The location is central to Lumbini and a small local market We had lovely bento boxes for dinner with perfectly prepared miso soup and tempura. A nice break from spicy Indian. I highly recommend this wonderful...

This hotel is awfull. Old, no clean rooms. Don't stay there if you are 1.70 meter or taller, because of doors in the room. Dirty worn out cloths on the tables in the restaurant. Staff is friendly but not pro active and not alert. Restaurant looks like staff cantina. The time between ordering dinner and serving takes more than one...

We stayed at this hotel in Room 21 as part of an intrepid tour. The hotel rooms are all ground level and are located a very short walk from the reception/restaurant. Great aspect looking over the gardens/lawn. Covered walkways connect the rooms to the main building. The very modern room was spacious with twin beds, AC, fan, fridge, large cupboard...

Stayed here as part of an intrepid tour. We were really impressed from the moment we drove up to the door! The staff are impeccably dressed and extremely friendly and courteous. Check in was easy and the room was lovely. The japanese influence is clear to see and the whole place is well taken care of. The room was super...

The hotel was built with Japanese support and design, showing in the deep sitting baths and the entrance area for removing shoes in the rooms and in the the meticulously laid out garden areas. It has a very relaxing feel, little noise and very pleasant surroundings. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped, good ac, mini bar (with Tuborg) and...

Had a good stay at hotel Hokke, it's a bit of a strange place, a Japanese style hotel in Nepal. Rooms were great though, very clean and tidy, everything worked fine. Food in the hotel was limited but nice. The spa was good but there isn't a pool as advertised. Had a karaoke place which was a laugh. Location is...

The rooms, both western and Japanese themed, are fabulous - spotless, great amenities, fabulous mini bar.... the list goes on. From the beautiful welcome tea waiting for you in your room, to the outstanding wifi and incredible service, this hotel...

Service in the restaurant was a bit hit and miss Orders were wrong, too many cooks in the Kitchen. It was quite funny to watch. Japanese style rooms, good air conditioning and comfy beds, the hotel was quiet when we went so lacked some atmosphere. It was in a good location for the sites.

Probably the best staff that I have come across. In fact the location is a page from Amar Chitra Katha. The food especially Nepali is best in Nepal, rooms are excellent, the surroundings are like you have traveled way back in time and reached Buddha Era. Overall best property in 3* category at the rate they charge anywhere in world....
