Looking at the pictures of this hotel we expected more. So much more. The location is fantastic, the pool area very good, food excellent but expensive. However, the standard older rooms are very tired and in need of refurbishment. In fact it's long overdue. The new block looks so much nicer but the old one let's this place down badly....

Located in nice area and has a nice swimming pool. But the issue is poor communication between top management and front desk. They often change their rules and regulations. Average lunch Buffet. Lack of variety in food & drink items. Poor customer service. I never go again at any situation.

We came to Nilawely after a long long drive from Colombo. Our plan was to relax there for a week and then start our trip in Sri Lanka. Our 1st 3 night in the “Sea Lotus Park” hotel Nilavely. The Hotel itself is not bad. It is excellent, rooms are clean, and were cleaned every day. It is not 5...

Hotel appearance is very much average. They must be invested good money but the maintenance is the concern. TV channels are very limited & most of them are in only Tamil nothing much with English at least. Rooms are with big enough space. Good comfortable beds are available but again service is the concern.

We stayed here two nights and really enjoyed the beach and breakfast buffet. We were in the cheaper standard room which was adequate with a nice balcony and sea view. Spacious room with good AC. Plenty of food options all around the neighborhood in walking distance. Especially at the high end hotels in the area. Good option for ocean swimming!

This photo doesn't give the right facts. In fact it gives a wrong impression. This hotel has a nice buildings with dozens of rooms with great sea views. These buildings and rooms are modern though my AC never worked as it was supposed to be. They serve good tasty food worth of money and the staff is nice and friendly....

Nice beach hotel with the Blue Ocean view. Visited with office fellows in the evening and spent time until night. FOODS are tasty. Drinks are expensive!! Swimming pool was not tidy and water was not clear. However a good place to have your honeymoon or spend time with friends.

Huge rooms with good views of the beach. Restaurant & staff lovely. Easy walk up the beach to other bars & restaurants. Early morning spent watching the local fisherman dragging in their catch. Pool needs upgrading.

I have stayed here several time since the year 2007 but I will write based on my recent experience, where I stayed at this place on December 10th, 2014. The standard rooms of the hotel are individual cottages. These are the rooms which were initially built and they are old, smaller in size and basic facilities. I have stayed in...

This hotel is situated in Trincomalee which is an upcoming destination after the recent troubles. It is right on the excellent beach and also has a good pool. We had two deluxe rooms which were spacious and kept clean and had a very good shower and toilet area. The food in the restaurant was good but the service was very...
