This motel is on the outskirts of Munising & GPS’s send you astray; I was sent to Christmas, the person before me ended up on a dirt road. Check in was easy, they had my details & a room allocated. The staff were friendly & informative about eateries in Munising. The room was spacious & clean, the bed was freshly...

We had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was basic powdered eggs, sg gravy, toast, muffins, donuts, cereal ,milk ,oj , coffee, waffles , yogurt, fruit. The lady who does the breakfast area is very rude and unpleasant. The other workers (even the cleaning staff) are very friendly and helpful. They have a decent little souvenir place in the lobby. The...

We were driving through the area and most hotels were booked. It was a Monday night and we were able to get room for around $160. I think this is high but it was worth the stay as it turned out to be a clean and comfortable room. The hallway carpet is a little deceiving as it is dirty and...

We visited in August 2016. The hotel smelled very nice, and seemed cleaner than your typical hotel. I really enjoyed the photography used to decorate the rooms and hallways; it was all Munising, Pictured Rocks, and Grand Island related, which is very suiting for the location and decor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We used the pool and...

We stayed at the Munising Hotel last Monday night. One of the reasons we stayed there was because we thought after a long day of sight-seeing it would be nice to have a cold beer at their bar. The bar is closed Sunday and Monday. They do not mention this in the information. The hotel itself is very "tired" and...

A group of us girls came up in August 2016 and stayed at this hotel, mainly due to every other hotel being booked up. Very happy with our stay. The outside looks a little dated, so we were worried at first. The inside, at least everything we saw, is completely updated. Very clean hotel, with decent breakfast and a sports...

Employees were the friendliest but the price per night was not worthy of this motel. "Hot" continental breakfast was not! There are closer places to Pictured Rocks to stay but they are all more expensive. First & last trip there.

Very clean, attractive motel. Medium cost and they take pets for a fee of 25$/day. Located close to all the sights, and has a pool and spa tub. The breakfast was good, and had a variety of items. It was a good place to use as a base camp to see the sights for a couple of days.

I had reserved a stay at Boarders Munising for two nights. In all the planning for our MI trip, I booked 2 hotels for the same dates & upon receiving email notification, realized my mistake. I promptly called to cancel our stay at Boarders at 12:26 pm the day before our reserved date. When I called to cancel, the woman...

The beautiful beach you see in the advertisement no longer exists. Instead, the stairs that led down to the beach lead directly into the water. We were informed this occurred 3 years ago! Yet the beach photos remain to entice. An incredible amount of noise from the room upstairs, and after requesting & being told we would not be near...
