We have stayed at San Cristobel many times over the past 6-7 years, and always found it to be a quiet oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of central Léon. Their Olympic sized swimming pool was a major attraction. We stayed at San Cristobel in January, and were most disappointed. The pool water was dark green, and swimming was...

The hotel is on the highway and not in town, so a vehicle is required to make the stay practical. I used the hotel as a base for weeks at a time, and got to know a few of the staff and even the owner. Some rooms are better than others. Those with windows toward the highway may be noisy...

The bathrooms were infested with cockroaches the walls were stained, kind of like floors we found a bottle of beer under the bed, the towels smelt like cigarettes. Honestly we didn't even stay for breakfast it would have been as lousy as the hotel

This hotel is close to the main highway that crosses Leon, so the noise is absolutely an issue. We had a problem in on of the rooms, and the owner who is behind the desk, always in the computer, did not wanted to help us so he is always sending the staff. I think he is italian, and when we...

I stayed in this establishment in April, 2012, (the evaluation would not permit me to go back further than August, 2012) and was very pleased with the ambiance of this hotel. The entrance, hallways, reception area were clean and attractive. My room was very large for a single room. Though basic and somewhat dated in the room's furnishings, the room...

Amazingly beautiful hotel with wonderful staff who make you feel like you are royalty! We basically had the whole place to ourselves or it seemed that way. Our room was huge with super comfy mattresses, HOT water showers, large bathroom and located poolside. The pool and grounds are gorgeous and our moonlight swims were sweetly romantic. We loved staying here...

This hotel saved our Christmas after a stay over in a not so nice place. The rooms are clean, if a little colonial style, they still have everything you need. Pool is amazing and very clean. Lots of sunbeds and shade for lunch. TV and shower great. Bed comfy. We were brought breakfast in bed and overall great team of...
