We stayed here for 5 nights end of January. John and Ledis were extremely good hosts and made our stay very enjoyable also helping us to book our onward travel arrangements. The house is really beautiful and the rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated. Also the surrounding gardens are amazing. I thoroughly recommend it. Charlie & Gaby London

Owners John and Ledys make your stay relaxed and comfortable. John makes breakfast with healthy ingredients and great juices. He also provides the most accurate directions! The location is close to everything, on a quiet street. Inside art and flora abound. This was my second stay at El Nancite and I would recommend it to anyone.

We got off the microbes after a long journey and we stepped right into heaven. John and Ledte's hotel is a blast of color of the earth and of the sun. The rooms are comfortable with excellent beds. Homemade breakfast by John each morning. Finally, great coffee. Original paintings by Ledte adorn the walls. Really great and generous people. It...

We had the owner, John, arrange for a taxi for us from San Juan del Sur to Leon as we wanted to get in earlier than the shuttle would get us there. The taxi driver was arrived early & was really nice although the condition of his vehicle was very poor. The seats had no proper backing to them &...

Hello Ashley, Thanks for your positive review, overall. Sorry for the ride, I spoke to the driver after your trip and told him to take his better car the next time, and use the AC. I thought you weren't interested in breakfast, as you never came back to the kitchen to talk to us ever. Did you come through Booking.com?...

The owner John is very amiable as a host. He's been in Nicaragua for two decades and really knows the town well. His directions are spot on. He prepares a delicious and healthy breakfast every day with fruit, eggs, juice, and terrific coffee. He likes to chat and can wax poetic on a number of books, arts, etc. He is...

We really enjoyed our stay at El Nancite Guesthouse. The room we stayed in (above the reception area) was very spacious and super clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (fruit, toast, fruit juice, coffee) on the sunny balcony outside our room each morning. The bell tower of the nearby cathedral was visible from the balcony. The host (Jose) was very...

Stayed for three lovely days at El Nancite, it was an excellent starting point to explore Leon. The staff was fantastic, the owner John was away and Jose was in charge while he was gone (actually it was a family affair, there were three Jose's since his father and son are also named Jose :). Jose made sure we were...

Guesthouse El Nancite is a great place for any traveler, solo or family. John the owner is very gracious and a great host. He has both AC and non-AC rooms available. I stayed in the non-AC room and even at the end of May with the start of the rainy season the room was very comfortable. John made a great...
