I have eaten here on several separate evenings, and also stayed for two separate weeks. There is something almost magical about the location, and the apparent effortlessness with which everything is done. I can honestly say that, during the week-long visits, I loved every meal I ate. Special memories include the cep omelette, lobster bisque, and a wide variety of...

A lovely family run hotel in the countryside of Lot. We stayed for two nights in the vaulted stone room which came with a private terrace, AC, wifi, tv and a lovely rainshower. The hotel is beautiful and set in the peaceful countryside of Lot but within a ten minute drive to civilisation. Our room was spotlessly clean and the...

Great location, and really beautiful setting. We arrived 10 minutes early and were tersely told the restaurant opened at 7.30 This did put a little bit of a bad feeling to the start of the evening. The food was good, if not outstanding and the service was brisk. A little more warmth towards the customer would have made all the...

We stayed for 2 nights in this place, we had booked the chambre voutee, a nice cool room when having some hot weather outside,it has also smal terrace in front of it, nice to sit outside in the evening. We used their pool, a bit cold for a 'heated' pool, but this didn't stop us. Cleanliness of the bathroom could...

A wonderful family run hotel in the beautiful Lot department in SW France. I have been coming here for 20 years. It is also possible to book the whole hotel for a private event as we do for a 'stage du piano' (Lot Music) each summer. As always Eva and Bernard and their family greet us with warmth and simpatico....

My room was large and comfortable, with effective air-con. Bernard and Eva are friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. The situation is beautiful. The cuisine is outstanding, matched with well-chosen wines.

May 2016 marked our 6th trip to southern France. During that time, no hotel has pleased us more than Le Vert. Eva greeted us in English, so we could put our HS French away for a time, and showed us to our gorgeous stone room (shown on the web site). One of the days we were there, it rained all...

We had 3 great days at this charming hotel. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind. The restaurant serves delicious food, and with only 6 bedrooms, it has an intimate and cosy atmosphere. There is plenty to do in the local area and the owners gave us lots of suggestions.

The setting is wonderful - beautiful countryside, grounds and buildings. The hotel building and rooms are charming - stone walls, beams, massive fireplace in the dining room. The food is heavenly - one of the best meals we've had this year.
