We stayed overnight at the end of September so the hotel was fairly quiet. Nonetheless we were surprised that there seemd to be just one (very pleasant) lady doing everything from reception to cleaning to breakfast service! Our room (a superior double) was very comfortable and attractively furnished in neutral tones and natural fabrics - very New England style. Unusually...

Small and well appointed hotel with great service. Staff are attentive and very helpful. Pool is great. Breakfast is good and tasty, no hot options. Rooms are clean. No air conditioning (at least not in ours), so it can get got during summer. Would go back.

The weather was warm so our rooms were (too) hot and the pool was bliss. Pricey but good breakfast: Try the crêpes with caramel! There's no hotel parking but we managed to find a space after driving around the castle three or four times. August is a busy time in France. You can stop in front of the reception to...

We had a pretty room overlooking the terrace and the chateau. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel as it wasn't included and was overpriced. Very difficult to get free Wifi. Service was at best perfunctory and information was poor - we were only told about the swimming pool when checking out.

A lovely hotel on a wonderful island. We stayed in room 104 which has a balcony overlooking the pool, quite a sun trap.the rooms are ensuite with bath and shower. Quite basic but tastefully decorated. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk into the town, but there are many restaurants within a stones throw. The staff are very pleasant...

Stayed for two nights with the family ( 2 adults and two young girls ) during the Bastille celebrations. The location is amazing, the pool is great and safe for a young family ( clearly recently developed and a good improvement) The rooms need some work for them to really work for families. For example the lack of safety catches...

Stayed here early July. Very good location, with free car park around the chateau (if you are lucky - probably more difficult to find in August I guess). The rooms are bright and clean, very comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful, we particularly liked the pancakes with home-made salted caramel!. The bikes they rent are really good, at a competitive price. We...

We have benn there 3 nights in triple rooms. It's a small hotel with 3*standards so don't wait for the luxury service. Staff is lovely and pay attention to you, rooms were clean ( but small and cold ), we turned the heaters on and went for a walk, when back rooms were warm and nice. The hotel is close...

The hotel is at a nice location, DIRECTLY next to the Chateau, yet only minutes away from the town center. The breakfast is good, and the host family is friendly. Pool and bicycle rental on site. Parking you can to find around the Chateau or towards the harbor nearby.

As a surprise birthday break this was quite an eye opening experience. My wonderfully organised partner had booked online some time in advance, however, experiencing difficulties with the online payment he called to confirm the booking & spoke to a gentleman called Vincent who emailed written confirmation by reply and stated payment on check out was fine. Two weeks prior...
