This hotel is well located in st Clemens which is a quiet village on the island. Next door is a small supermarket were you can buy cold drinks. This is conveniant as the hotel only serves breakfast in the morning. Around the corner is a local bar ( Ouest) which can serve drinks, service is very slow!

My wife and I have been staying at Le Chat Botte for the past 20 years. It is, quite simply, one of our favorite hotels anywhere. The two sisters who own it are professional and welcoming. Rooms are exactly what they should be near the sea--simple, fresh, clean and stylish. The piece de resistance is the large walled garden, with...

Le Chat Botte has a very French feel. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was very nice. The downside is that it is situated on the market square and there is a lot of noise from people outside until late into the night. Both mornings that we were there the market began setting up about 6 am...

I agree hundred percentage with the reviewer of if you like the church in your front room.We were woken up by the most enthusiastic campanologist ever. Those bells those bells. After followed by the arrival of the setting up of the market directly outside our window. The room had seen better days with cracks in the paintwork on the doors. If you don't value...

The hotel itself is great. Nice rooms (although not that big) and the smell and feel of the hotel is nice. The huge garden is heavenly.. We could sit there all day. And we had plenty of time to do so because we didn't sleep that much. There is no airconditioning so you need to sleep with the windows open......

Tranquil, understated, beautifully decorated and worth a visit. Have come back for a third time for a quick cycling break before the summer kicks off. Have recommended this many times and have never been disappointed. The hotel is run by two sisters . Their brother runs a highly rate restaurant across the square which is also worth a visit.

Small charming property nested in the wildest village of the island. Go for the odd numbers as your room will be on the garden side and you will really enjoy your stay. If you are given an even number, no need for a wake up call: in summer, from 06.30 am you will be part of the dressing of the...

Stayed here whilst buying a property locally....Hotel was charming & typical of the Island, parking was excellent, staff so helpful & could not do enough to assist. Room comfortable & very nicely decorated. Food at the Restaurant was fabulous - not cheap, but superb, as was the service. I would certainly recommend this hotel, in one of the quietest villages.
