Snuck up here for a quiet weekend away. What a hidden gem. The Owners were onsite and making sure that everything was working right and going well. There is a board game library, and if you need anything you can just ask! The cottages are delightful, inviting and clean. All doors and windows open easily, no bugs in the rooms,...

This was our second time staying at Sandcastle. We stayed here in July 2013, just after the new owners took over. Returning almost 3 years later, it was evident they have worked hard to maintain the property. We noticed fresh paint, new lumber, new flooring tiles, and very clean and well-kept grounds. A brand-new shuffleboard court was being installed during...

We went to Sandcastle for a weekend in June and had so much fun. The kids played with other kids on site, there was a play structure, volley ball net, corn hole, and they were putting in a new shuffle board. The resort it self is very clean and all of the cabins face the water. I watched the sun...

The wife and I just needed to get away from home for a few days. This place was the rigth place to do it. We had the cabin on the end next to the water. Looking to come back in a few weeks for a longer stay. Thanks all.

Amazingly fun, restful, and entirely delightful experience at Sandcastle Beach Resort. This beautifully designed, simple yet unique set of beach homes are tucked into a super soft sand getaway where Lake Huron is literally 50 feet away. There is a fire pit feet from the shore, a perfect beach volleyball net, sports supplies: frisbees, soccer balls, basketballs and adjustable hoop,...

I just visited in the off season, on a Monday & Tuesday. I had the place to myself, and weather permitting that has it's advantages. I was in Michigan on Business, and while this is not the sort of place I usually stay on business the ability to stay in a quiet place right on the beach was nice. The...

Had a wonderful weekend with my family at this lovely resort. The view of the lake was breathtaking along with the beautiful sunrise. The property is very well maintained. The owners were extremely attentive to our needs. It was a great time had by all. We will definitely return!

This year new onsite owner updated furniture, bedding and plumbing fixtures and cares about her customers. Beach is groomed and cleaner than ever. I couldn't ask for anything more than what we had at the Sandcastle's Beach resort. We stayed in their two-bedroom cottage with pullout couch. It was perfect for our family of four. Sandcastle has an awesome beach, playground for kids, fire pit, volleyball net and shuffleboard. Cottage was clean, had full kitchen and just the perfect size. Would highly recommend.

Excellent experience. The atmosphere was family friendly with plenty of room for us to enjoy the beach. Room was exceptionally clean. Stove/oven did not work (it had just been installed) but they gave us a credit and provided us a hot plate. One thing that visitors should know is that the resort only provides one set of towels for the...
