Made a same day reservation and was accommodated with a professional attitude. The campground is tucked away from the main road and in a quiet area. The site was the most level we have ever had. Nice management, quiet, and clean. We will return.

We have been staying at the Oscoda, MI KOA for over 10 years now. The Campground is very clean and the Owners are great people! The Campground is close to the beach and the river. So if you like Tubing, Kayaking and Canoeing the river is not far away.

If you are a true camper this is not the best place for you. If you enjoy more of a glamping type of camping then this is for you. They have showers which are for tent campers however the RV people tend to use them a lot and make the lines for the bathroom long. Only 2 toilets which have...

It was our first time visiting this KOA, but it definitely won't be our last. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Our deluxe cabin was super clean and had a microwave, mini fridge, and cable tv along with a picnic table, fire ring and charcoal grill outside. We were near the railroad tracks and I...

My wife and I chose the KOA in Oscoda since we hadn't been to the area before. We figured KOAs are always well kept. Even though there are railroad tracks along the front side of the property it wasn't a bother...one train came through over the weekend and it moved slow and as quiet as a thousand ton train can...

If you stay during the week, you will be awoken by 2 trains after midnight and the train actually shakes your cabin and/or camper (see pic showing the very near proximity of the train tracks). However, there was not a train on Friday or Saturday night. Staff was very friendly and they knew your name every time you saw them....

Friendly staff that work with the kids. The hay ride and old fire truck ride is a big hit with the kids. The proximity to the train is no fun especially as it goes through blowing it's whistle in the middle of the night. The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. There is less privacy between sites than I...

This is a large, campground with a lot of sites, all very close together. There are lots of trees, but they don't provide any privacy and it's not as shady as you would think. We were placed right next to the train tracks and were awakened every night by a train passing through at midnight. One night, I was awakened...

Our first visit to this KOA and will be back. Very clean and quiet. Plenty of things to do for all. Just wish we had time to enjoy the heated pool. Lots of shady places to park. Make your reservation early as they fill up fast. Friendly people! The only way it could be better is if the office opened...

I would give it more stars if our water would have worked at our site. I wasn't going to be asked to move again since we asked to move once already. When we first got there they had us right next to the swamp. It was the worst smell coming from it that you could imagine. My daughter was gagging....

“If you don't need hook ups or only 20 amps, stay in the lower section along the non-railroad edge. The train is not a problem, but actually cool to see go by. If traveling with someone, get a buddy site. As for the cabins, go for the ones near the pool and office area.”

“If you don't like trains, ask to be placed as far away from the train tracks as possible because a train comes nightly around 11PM. ”

“Bring a correct RV 30 Amp extension cord if you need one - as they will not allow you to connect a 15 or 20 amp cord with an adapter. (they will be happy to sell you one though!)”
