I recently stayed with 4 others at this lovely Gite. The property had been beatifully restored preserving the french provincial theme. The owners have a mix of professionalism and warmth. The accommodation is first class. A car is a real plus to be able to enjoy the local attractions. A quich TGV ride from paris makes this is a great...

Perched on the outskirts of the pretty village of Limalonges in the Poitou-Charente region of south-western France, Le Logis de Limalonges is an absolute gem. An early nineteenth century manor house on more than a hectare of land, it has been lovingly refurbished by its owners, who live in the central section of the building while on either side are...

We were lucky enough to have a four week break and as we wanted to stay in the same place for the duration, we researched thoroughly. Our hard work definitely paid off. The East Wing is spacious and has excellent facilities and the large heated pool and extensive grounds are wonderful. John, Jill and Sophie are marvellous hosts and great...

We spent a truly relaxing 10 days staying in the beautiful West Wing of Le Logis de Limalonges. La Logis has everything you could possibly want for a really special family holiday – stunning accommodation with plenty of space inside and out; a pool for splashing about it; games, books and puzzles; a 'secret' garden and pretty orchard (perfect for...

We stayed at the West wing for one week sharing with another family. what a sensitively restored and beautifully decorated gite. Our first impression was wow and that didnt change. John Jill and Sophie made us feel so welcome and were on hand to deal with any queries we had. They provided a perfectly pitched level of hospitality, available but...

We stayed for a week in the West Wing and found it to be a quite exceptional place which made for the most wonderful family holiday. Everything was immaculately clean and superbly appointed. The 200-year old property is stunning, but it is the quality of the renovation work which has made the place what it is today. It has been...

Le Logis de Limalonges is a beautiful property set in the pretty village of Limalonges in France. You can relax by the pool, wander around the orchard and through the local village, or travel to nearby chateaux, lakes and villages. The property itself is well appointed with everything you would need for either a short or long term stay -...

We stayed at this charming Gite for a week- and what a week it was! The Gites have been tastefully restored, there are two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) and a fully working kitchen. I must admit we didn't take full advantage of the kitchen apart from at breakfast time- though if you brought a family, you can cook...

The sparkling pool matches the sparkling personalities of the hosts John and Jill. Le Logis offers the perfect setting in the beautiful french countryside. The backdrop of the former 1800's manor house makes you feel as if you have taken a step back in time. The East Wing has a wonderfully charming interior in an idyllic situation. John and Jill...
