Hallways are dark, side entrance door does not close. Rooms was clean. Can't get any better room for $40 in the area. If you are just staying for a night and not care about anything fancy , you would not be disappointed

I took a trip to Detroit MI, and after an unfortunate series of events I missed my flight back home. The airline couldn't get me on a flight until two days from then. So I looked for hotels nearby, and I ended up choosing the Magnuson. I booked it for two nights, and they allowed me to check in earlier...

Remodeled room, nice fire place in lobby, HBO, free shuttle from airport, McDonald's across the street. This is a family owned/run hotel. Nice people, hard working. Stay here it is a great value. Very close to airport.

This is not a luxury hotel - you get what you pay for. But everything was clean and functional. Good size fridge in room. I was especially grateful that they have inexpensive toiletries for sale at the lobby, as I didn't have my luggage. No breakfast but they serve coffee and you can buy a few basic food items. The...

We arrived in dtw a little later than expected and decided to stay close to the airport and start fresh in the morning. We usually stay at another hotel near the airport, but they were booked. The desk clerk (night time), was extremely rude. I wanted to see the room prior to booking because we had our 7 month old...

Beware: There is no refund after the first 15 minutes. (We didn't know this.) A few minutes after checking in and bringing in our bags, my fiance went to the front desk after dicovering black mold in the bathroom and covering the AC; and used condoms and trash under the bed. The guy at the check-in desk showed him another...

Hotel is so dirty. Had blood on our sheets. Asked front desk for clean sheets and pillow cases and was told that housekeeping was gone for the day "@ 4 p.m." Guy said he'd figure it out. Never did. We were forced to share a single bed because of it. Not worth the dirt cheap price.

The following: At check in, no one at the desk for about 5 minutes two people sitting in area that looked homeless. I asked for a wake up call desk clerk said the walkup system was down and someone would knock on the door, (they did not) I tried to call front desk to order a pickup the phone did...

I'm from the Detroit area but was not that familiar with hotels right near the airport… I was in town for just a fun quick weekend trip… This hotel had a great rate but I didn't want to even take my shoes off in the room. It reminded me of the shining hotel the Stanley… Super gross super creepy super...
