Frequently visit the VI for dinner. The food has always been remarkably good. Their specials are always very tasty. Their burgers are top of the line. The wait staff are very courteous and helpful. The location is easily accessible, and plenty of parking is available.

I was in St. Ignace for work, and being by myself, the hotel/restaurant was the appeal. The price was extremely reasonable, and it's definitely a no-frills stay. Check in was easy - at the bar if you're arriving after business hours. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. If you're an early riser, you might have to make...

The food was average, nothing special. Our party of four had a variety of foods, from sandwiches to pizza and salads. The pizza was a thick crust which was pretty good, however being from the Chicago area there's nothing to compare to a Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago. This restaurant was a recommendation from the hotel where we stayed. The...

My wife and I visited and had a nice visit. Busy place but they know how to turn tables and feed with good eats. Had the ccioppino and she had the maple planked whitefish, both yum. Also, Lab bats on tap!

Hidden gem , centrally located with a great restaurant downstairs. It is quiet and comfortable. Staff very helpful, lots of parking, easy access to other restaurants and ferry service across the street to Mackinaw Island.

Booked for a one night stay as no rooms available for the holiday weekend. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The fact that it is above the restaurant is a bonus. We had a great meal there and in the morning we had warm muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee in the little nook. We were across from the...

This is a bar/pub restaurant. It caters to the usual crowd of locals and tourists but it also has its share of families dining here as well. We have visited three times and have eaten in and ordered take out. The wait staff is not overly friendly. The food is good but slow to arrive. The prices are reasonable.

Off season rates are great. Rooms are very clean and very spacious. TV although older type worked very well and had many many stations. Bathroom and shower was well maintained brightly lit and very clean. Being upstairs from a great restaurant and bar with great food is very convenient. Will be staying again.

I didn't stay at their hotel, but ate at their restaurant twice. They have a good selection on the menu and a variety of appetizers to choose from. The food is good, service is slow, and the waitresses weren't that pleasant.
