Thankfully, the Village Inn had one room left just 2 days prior to our stay. My wife and I arrived with our 2 kids much later than expected (Midnight), but we let them know in advance. We just had to check in at the bar. Opening the door to our room was a challenge at first until we figured out...

Went to office to check in and sign on door, "manager downstairs in Bar". Found the manager, checked in and went to room. Looked around for an ice machine and found a note "get ice from the bartender". Went back downstairs and got a small amount of ice from the bartender. Tried to hook up to the interned and discovered...

We recently dined here on our weekend trip to St. Ignace and Mackinac Island. We went back to VIllage Inn the next day because the food is so great!!! Excellent selection and the food is amazing! Wonderful, friendly service and atmosphere.

The menu contain many things that were unique. The Tuscan chicken was well prepared and presented. The individual pizza was perfectly done; right size toppings. Side salad was generous and fresh. It was a bit noisy but the service was excellent. Hostess did an amazing job of managing the continue influx of people, confirming the reputation of this hometown restaurant.

Clean, affordable and great location. There is a bar and restaurant on the first floor ( front street level) with great burgers and some very interesting historical pictures on the walls. Coffee is available early and muffins after 8:30am. We stayed here twice during the same trip...once at the beginning and again at the end. Having never stayed at a...

My wife and I spent a couple of nights in St. Ignace, and the first night we dined at the Village Inn. My dinner was superb, the New York strip with a composed butter of garlic andl blue cheese. I had the green salad and that was a good and interesting mix of salad greens and vegetables, but the italian...

This is a lovely little inn. Spent two nights here this time. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. It's walking distance to Mackinac Island ferry docks and beautiful views of the water and Island. Fresh baked muffins and coffee every morning. The restaurant down stairs is also very good. When visiting St Ignace this will always be...

After a horrible experience at the Mackinac grille we decided to try this place. What a great decision! Dinner was fantastic, service wonderful. Overall clearly a five star choice in St Ignace. If you are contemplating a dining choice make it here and not across the street.

I have celiac disease and saw this restaurant offered gluten free stuff so I was super excited! We got to the restaurant and yes they did have a gluten free bun for their burgers BUT all the sides they offered with it were not and they would not substitute a side salad without charging me full price of my burger...

Hair in the lobster dip and whitefish plank was raw. Took the advice of another and was very disappointed. The staff was ok but no discount was offered due to the poor quality of food. Only three beers on tap.
