We were on site 85 and it was wonderful for freighter watching. Very few trees and most immature to no shade. That being said, it was great for the cool fall camping we did. Staff was very nice and helpful. Clean laundry. We did not check out the bathrooms or showers because we used the one in our 5th wheel.

Well kept and in a good spot if you are into ships, but there are barely any trees and the ones that are there are stressed. If you go in summer prepare to be surrounded by massive motor homes and fifth-wheels running their air conditioners non-stop. We don't have A/C so we were baked within an inch of our lives....

We have stayed here many years on our visits to the UP. This year we stayed twice! Both times for a week. It is one of our favorite camping spots. You can't beat the location on the St. Marys River which is right out your door! The view of the freighters is wonderful. The boat ramp is right nect door......

Right on the St. Mary's River and in full view of the passing ships coming to and from the Soo Locks. Beautiful views. Really enjoyed this beautiful campground! Full hook-ups are limited but there are 2 dump stations nearby. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

Plenty of room. Excellent location. All hook up services worked great. Very peaceful. Right on the river so you can watch the boats. No need for a spot directly on the river as all sites are close. Store is limited. Would securely stay here again.

We spent 4 nights here recently, it had been 3 years since we'd been "up north" so we were glad to go back! We were unable to get a water site, those are very popular and get snapped up fast. Maybe next time I'll call earlier and we can get one of those, as we've had a water site many...

You get it all with this campground, If you are a Ship watcher you will see them Day and Night. If you are a fisherman then you have a boat launch right at the campground. Great places to eat in area close. Try the Big "C" a huge burger at Clydes a small little burger joint about 1/4 mile east...

Sites are mostly sunny, not many trees. The awning had to be rolled up at night and when you went site seeing. If the wind was 10mph, it was 20mph at the campground. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate.

This is a very popular campground, and the waterfront spots are almost always full. Reservations are recommended especially during the summer. We met several people who come back every year, in the same spot, for months at a time. We “site hopped” when we visited as we kept trying to get on the water. With persistence, we did score with...

As a tent camper, I tend to stay away from private campgrounds and now I remember why. The bathroom facilities were clean and modern and they have a great location to town (Soo Locks Boat Tours are literally two doors down). It was great to sit on the benches on the river and watch the freighters, but they are definitely...
