Canada's first Inn in a Lighthouse consisting of 14 rooms B&B. Sleep in a lighthouse, drift off to the sound of gently rolling waves, enjoy spectacular sunsets...
The proximity to the water was phenomenal, as were the facilities and the staff. The views were exceptional, and the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore/rocks were magical. They lulled you to a peaceful deep sleep. The breakfast was not the best, nor was it the worst. There was enough that no one went without any portion of the meal. All in all, it was definitely well worth the need to book a year in advance.

When we arrived, dinner was finishing with only one table still occupied. Deserai checked us in and told us she would try to get us some food while we moved our stuff in. She did get us both a plate of food and explained that Monday was the only night they served dinner because the local restaurant was closed on Monday. They did serve a good hot breakfast every morning with home made baked goods. Deserai was very friendly and helpful talking to us about things to do and places to go in the area. Our room was big and bright and very clean overlooking the bay with a deck not more than 100 feet from the water looking west. It was air conditioned but we kept it off and had the windows open listening to the waves lap against the shore. Great for the mind and soul, it was so peaceful. There were trails to walk, red sand beaches to explore and bay water to swim in. I went down to the kitchen in the evening to get a bucket of ice and as I was walking downstairs the most wonderful smell of baking carried me down to meet Juliette who was baking cookies. Needless to say I just had to sample one and then bring one back up to my wife. I almost forgot what I went down for. Juliette does the baking and cooking at the inn and boy does she do a good job. We sat and chatted for a while and she sent me off with cookies and slices of coffee cake to bring to our room. Nights we spent watching the sunset, and a few seals from our balcony, we also were lucky enough to to catch a rainbow. We would highly recommend a couple nights here. Everyone is so friendly, cheerful and helpful. When you make it there say hello to Juliette from Ed and Mary from NH. We would without a doubt love to go back for a little longer stay next time.…

I wish I could give them 10. Not enough space to say how much we loved it. We chose lower level. Walked right out to the beach. The BEST home made baking by Juliet every morning. We caught a sea bass right from the beach. Great swimming beach. Dog friendly. Watched the lobster fisherman coming in. The best sunset by far

We stayed in a tower room which was interesting. Yes it’s very cool to stay in the lighthouse tower but there is NO real view. The view from the Inn part is much better. But yes we stayed in a lighthouse so that was great. The only other negative was the AC. It was so loud, I think it can cause hearing problems.

The truth is that West Point Lighthouse Inn is generally out of the way for most tourists. That being said, that could be a total selling point. It was quiet and we could almost feel like we were the only ones in the world. It was spectacular! In the 8 days we stayed in PEI, NB & NS West Point was absolutely one of the best places we stayed and also visited. We couldn't have asked for better. The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. For breakfast there was home make scones and bread. We stayed in the lighthouse itself and it really was a once in a lifetime experience. We both adored the place. The room was large and cozy. We really couldn't have asked for more. If you are ever in PEI make the extra drive and stay at West Point Lighthouse Inn!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful inn in September of 2021. The rooms overlook the water and the sounds of the water against the shore lull you to sleep. The rooms are simple, but perfectly updated and clean. The views are beautiful and the sunsets are spectacular. Each guest gets a complimentary tour and history of the lighthouse. We travel extensively and our stay here was one of the best. What makes this place so amazing are the staff. You feel welcomed the minute you arrive and throughout your stay. Sitting around the fire pit with our host Jimmy S, and listening to the history and fables surrounding the lighthouse were unique and delightful. This was our first trip to P.E.I. But certainly not our last and are looking forward to returning and saying hi to our new friends at the West Point Light house inn, you will not be disappointed.…

This property gets a 5 star for the experience of staying there. It is not a traditional 5 star hotel. The rooms are simple, and there is very little to do close by. Its quiet. You can walk beaches for hours, watch storms roll in, listen to stories about the area and the ghosts! Call ahead for dinner options, as there is only one pub close by. Breakfast is simple but good ; Homemade bread, muffins, fruit, yogourt and cereal. This is a non profit hotel run by a very dedicated team. They love this part of the Island and it shows. GO for the experience , it was one of the highlights of our trip.

If you want to be lulled to sleep by the waves and view the most spectacular sunsets ever then you need to stay here. Even tho we were there at the end of the season we had fantastic weather and an amazing stay. Our room was on the second floor...room 24 with a deck that looked onto the beach and ocean. We watched the lobster boats coming and going and unloading their catch at the pier a short walk away. The room was immaculate and the hosts very caring and helpful. A bonfire on the beach was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be returning to this magical place.

When my daughter and I visited the lighthouse in July of this year, I knew I had to go back and stay at the Inn. We were not disappointed! Lovely professionally decorated room and common room, ample continental breakfast featuring local baked goods, friendly and helpful staff all located in a unique location. Enjoyed every minute.

Just can't say enough about this fantastic place! One of our favourite hotels ever. Pure magic. Service was impeccable, breakfasts wonderfully done, building and rooms perfectly kept, so quiet, family-friendly. There were bonfires with storytelling each evening (although the person leading them would keep a very bright lamp on, which made it hard to sky-gaze on our balcony...our only suggestion for improvement), fantastic lifeguarded beach (our little one's first time to an ocean!), and unbelievable sunsets. Unlimited access to the lighthouse for guests (just choose the timing of your lighthouse climb carefully...as we were at the top in the tiny light-room and a family of EIGHT decided it might be a good idea to also come up while we were there, rather than wait in the larger room below...it was quite awkward!) No room service/restaurant on-site but there is a restaurant mere minutes away...if you are staying for any length of time and think you might rely on this restaurant (which allows closed bottles of alcohol to be purchased as take-out), check with them directly on their schedule since they were closed on a day which was listed as a day they ordinarily would be open... Next closest place to get food/supplies is about 30 minutes away. Thank you for an amazing stay! Highly recommend.…
