The accommodations were excellent, Breakfast was delicious, the staff was eager to please and fun wine tasting! We really love this place and will definitely come back often! Jim & the staff are so much fun to be around - they really understand customer service!
Jim was an awesome host at this cozy B&B! The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was amazing (I even got the recipe to make at home!) The jacuzzi tub was the cherry on top for our relaxing time away. We will definitely be...More
I have been coming here in the fall for many years now. The location is great, staff is very friendly, rooms are comfortable and fun to spend time in. It is very close to downtown and Lake Michigan. I will keep coming back.
I have been coming to this place for years and have only the best things to say! Quiet and peaceful and very close to Lake Michigan, this place is a haven. The Inn keepers are wonderful and make every effort to ensure a perfect visit.
We stayed in Bushies Bungalo. It is a queen bed , love seat , table , kitchenette, and small bathroom. It was just fine for our trip. The cabin has a nice porch and there is a grill available. Take your own charcoal. There is...More

Hi Marilyn! We actually have a King Deluxe room on the first floor and the second floor. I think you'll find that there is potential for sounds to travel, much like you would find at any lodging property. For some folks, any noise - even the hum of a refrigerator - is disturbing. Others find background sounds preferable, by running the bathroom fan or even bringing their own. If you prefer no noise whatsoever, consider reserving one of our guest cottages, where you can have an entire house for yourselves. Of course that's not part of the "bed and breakfast" but that might be just the ticket for you.
The two porches you see on the front of our building are actually accessible from the hallways, so guests staying in any room in the bed & breakfast can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the porch.
I hope this helps answer your question - but do feel free to call us directly!
