We loved our stay a couple of weeks ago and will be coming back in May. The property has a tasting room, a stable with friendly (and one nippy) horses, and hiking/skiing/snow-shoeing trails that allow you to go through the woods and the vineyards and provide a lovely view of Sutton's Bay. Breakfast was fabulous and we were lucky enough...

It's friendly and classy! Every staff member was engaging and interesting. The room was luxurious, fireplace and all; the breakfasts outstanding! The afternoon wine and snacks event is memorable. This was our third winter get-away at the Inn at Black Star Farms and I can't wait to go back.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn for our anniversary and were very impressed. The staff is tremendously helpful and very attentive. This was my first stay and my wife's second. My wife has some food allergies and the Inn had that on record, so when I booked our stay, they confirmed the food allergies and communicated that to...

OK, this is a first for me. I am not a very extreme person, I have never given a top rating for anything. I am always able to find something to criticize. If anyone deserves this top rating, Black Star Farms is the place. We stayed two nights in the Inn, and participated in one of the harvest dinners the...

First time at the Inn with another couple also celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The place is beautiful, the rooms well decorated. After our incredible wedding weekend a few hours away, we drove up, happy and exhausted, to the Inn for four nights (Mon-Fri) and stayed in the Diadem Suite (formerly the master bedroom). Our week was perfect. This suite allowed ample space for luxurious relaxation. The breakfasts were exceptional (thank you Beau and Margaret!). Our fellow guests were a delight. The...

One of the happier tasting places. Staff was great and enjoyable, loved the food and sitting on the patio overlooking the vineyards. Will visit again when in the area. A little tough to find but worth it.

Starting with the location, this complex of red painted farm buildings is set back although visible from off the main road that runs north to Suttons Bay (Highway 22 I think). It’s about 3 miles south of Suttons Bay and about ¾ mile east of the ‘TART’ cycle trail, for those who plan on biking. They have ten rooms, ranging...

This was our fifth visit to stay in the Inn and it is better than ever-we didn't think they could improve on perfection , but they did. Last summer was the first time Inn guests could get a private wine tasting in the room especially for wine clubs members. It was a fabulous experience. Jessie was our host and did...

We stayed at The Inn at Black Star Farms for two nights last week. This is not a 5 star hotel, but the price would lead you to believe it is. The decor is dated...lots of oak cabinets every where, the coffee is weak and comes with little plastic tubs of cream, and the room we stayed in was in...
