Nice place. Much better price than other hotels, good location AND way more comfy beds than other hotels we’ve stayed at in traverse city in this same price range. We had party of 5. Two room suite. It was good. Clean, safe. Small but nice pool.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here for the first part of our honeymoon. We got a king room with a Jacuzzi tub. The room was clean, the staff were nice, the hotel was quiet, and we spent a little time in the indoor pool and hot tub, which was nice. Vending machines were right down the hall for late night snacks. WiFi seemed to work fine and we enjoyed watching The Office on the TV while relaxing in the evenings.

The free continental breakfast left a LOT to be desired. All they had was individually wrapped baked goods (bread, muffins, English muffins, danishes, bagels, etc.) and yogurt. There wasn't even cereal or fruit (although I saw people who had gotten there before us with bananas). Normally I'd expect some hot foods like eggs, bacon/sausage, etc. but there wasn't any of that either day we stayed there (maybe due to COVID?).

We chose to use the Jacuzzi tub in our room both nights (since we paid an additional $20 for it, figured we'd better use it), but one of the nights there wasn't enough hot water to fill it! We decided to make do and fill it up with lukewarm water until the water coming out of the spout got too cold, wait 10-20 minutes, and try filling up again. We did this multiple times to get the tub filled. The later in the evening it got there was more hot water so we were able to get the tub to a more comfortable temperature, although it wasn't long after that that we needed to get out and go to sleep, so that was a bummer.

My daughter and I were in town to finish Christmas shopping and spent 2 awesome nights at this hotel. Their front desk professional, Wendy, went above and beyond to make sure everything with our room was perfect and even helped us with using a local food delivery service. She was so easy to work with and she made us feel very welcome. Our room was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. They truly made us feel at home away from home and this is where we will always stay when visiting the TC area as well as recommending it to all our family and friends who visit in the area.

We just stayed here for three nights and while there were a couple of things I could whine about, I was totally impressed with the front desk attendants Ahmad and Wendy and the manager, Mark and the response of house keeping when we had a problem with the toilet. Great help and ideas for things to do and where to go. Ahmad printed menus for restaurants we wanted to consider, had suggestions for things to see when we mentioned where we were headed for the day, even suggested we could have a free drink in a restaurant a family member managed if we went to that town. We asked if we could change rooms because of a youth hockey team staying in the room above ours and were told that they would even move us ! There are lots of hotels in this city to chose from but if/when we go back, this is where we will stay.

We stayed for two nights in a Jacuzzi tub king room for our anniversary in early May. Check in was prompt and easy. There were filled and working hand sanitizers everywhere we went in the hotel, I liked having them right next to the elevator. The pool/ hot tub was open but we did not take advantage of it. Lots of parking around the hotel and a breakfast restaurant next door if you do not use the hotels grab and go breakfast.

We appreciated the anniversary card and local bottle of wine. A nice celebration for us to enjoy after dinner one night. We found the room to be very clean and large. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Traverse City.

Our two night experience with Comfort Inn in Traverse City was exceptional. They had the friendliest staff we experienced on our trip and the facility was very clean. Breakfast was so much better than any other place we stayed. We were able to eat in the dining room which offered several kinds of juice, coffee, teas, apple cider, oatmeal, bagels, bread for toast, English muffins, pastries, cream cheese, peanut butter, several yogurt flavors, peeled hard boiled eggs, etc. This was twice & more what other hotels offered and most sent you back to your room to eat. Comfort Inn offers a shuttle service that will take you anywhere within 5 miles. They also showed us where we could rideour bikes from the hotel to access the bike trails. Kudos to all the staff for our clean, comfortable room and all their friendly help.

We slept well on the comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Everything was very clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We weren't bothered by the road out front, just the fact that there was nowhere in town to dine in before 9 pm. We ended up getting a delicious flatbread pizza and salad from The Filling Station, and the staff kindly let us eat in the breakfast room.

The staff at this Hotel is very friendly. The front desk staff made you feel at home from checkin. They were very helpful with directions to events around the area. Even the breakfast staff were very friendly.
The hotel rooms were very clean and spotless. Great place to stay. They have a free shuttle that will take you downtown or any place within a certain radius of the hotel.

The staff was welcoming and friendly while remaining professional from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless and well maintained. It had all of the creature comforts ( couple of chairs, table, refrigerator, microwave, television and high speed internet access). The pool and exercise areas are open 24 hours. Plenty of on site parking. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and wanting to be sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay. The on-site continental breakfast was limited due to COVID-19. I am certain that will change with time. The location is very good with close access to parks and the downtown.

Stopped here mid afternoon on a rainy day, to inquire about a room. We were very impressed with the look of the lobby upon entering. We were also welcomed by Mark Belanger. General Mgr and his associate. They had a room available with our requested accommodations and despite a couple of interruptions set us up for the night. They couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. The next morning I rec'd a message that my charge didn't go thru..so at the desk, I spoke to Marge, again a very pleasant woman. Between her, Mark and Wendy they took care of the problem and recommended a hotel at my next destination. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a medium priced hotel in Traverse City

I'm not sure of the year it was built, but it looked brand new. The outside looked very standard, the inside was new and fresh!

How far from downtown? What are the hours of the shuttle?
Answer from Delmar M

It's about a 10 minute drive to down town. The problem in the summer is parking. On street parking is limited and there are not many lots. All the hotels recommend you take a cab or shuttle to down town.
