A gorgeous Victorian home which has been painstakingly and lovingly restored by the Innkeepers. They make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk inside. Beautifully appointed rooms, each with its own unique antique decor. One of the highlights is breakfast: delicious, healthy, beautifully presented and so much fun sitting with everyone in the dining room, sharing where we...

We are three couples who vacation together around the US at least once a year. The husbands have been friends since high school so we always have a much anticipated visit. This year we met in Traverse City and stayed at The Wellington. What a perfect choice for us! Barb and Hank are wonderful hosts and the Inn is amazing....

We just spent 3 nights at The Wellington with 2 other couples. The Inn is beautiful...lovingly restored by the proprietors and filled with antiques. The rooms are all very different and unique...we enjoyed our vintage bathroom with its huge cast iron tub! When you arrive Barb and/or Hank show you your room and give you a tour of the home,...

Room was clean and true to the Victorian era. Each room has it's own bath which is very nice. Our criticism is in the breakfasts served. We had 3 breakfasts there and each day we were served essentially the same main course, a baked egg dish with vegetables and or meat inside. Very disappointing that more of a variety of...

Lovely rooms, delicious breakfasts, friendly hosts. A guest kitchen with snacks available as well as place to store your leftovers. Beautiful antiques, easy walk to downtown area by the water. Only drawback is lots of stairs. Not sure how a disabled person could stay here.

We instantly felt at home upon arrival. This home is full of beautiful antiques, and the hosts and staff are very genuine and friendly. The breakfasts are so delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. It is located within walking distance to downtown and yet far enough away to be very quiet. The third floor ballroom was set...

I stayed with another couple in the art-deco 2 bedroom/2 bath carriage house. Plenty of room. Location is perfect. The carriage house is incredible. The kitchen has all the utensils/appliances you will need (they even provided complimentary snacks, water, candy, cookies and pop). This is a wonderful, relaxing, special place to stay.

“The room ( Vortuba?) was nicely appointed and had a nice modern shower. The only complaint is the bed is super creaky- any movement of any kind. It reminded me of my grandmother's bed when I was a kid, so think it needs to be updated. ”
