In my party we had rented 2 full hook up sites and a deluxe cabin. My family stayed on one of the full hookup sites. We were very happy with how well maintained the campground was. The store was fun and convenient, the staff was helpful and friendly. We rented a golf cart and that was fun for the kids....

Thank you for your review! We have been working diligently to make improvements at the campground and I'm glad that they were noticed! We will continue to make improvements to the sites as you mentioned, so that the amenities are as promised. Look forward to having you stay with us again!

We rented the "deluxe" cabin. I think the "deluxe" was that it had running water/shower and heat. Since we went during the off-season we got a pretty good price per night ($75). The cabin was cute and in pretty good condition. It has a shower and toilet in the very small bathroom with a mirror but no sink. The only...

Yes, Timber Ridge has some things they can improve on. The broken cement pad at the campsite. Maybe they could saw cut it and remove the broken part. They also could update the electrical breakers. If we ran more than one item at a time it blew the breakers. I reported it everyday, but it wasn't repaired. As far as...

For the money charged, I expected more. Bath houses have not been improved in years. Roads have not been maintained, and it's hard to distinguish the camp sites from the roads. This campground has been overused and neglected. I was very disappointed.

I don't know where to start with how wonderful Timber Ridge is. We were so fortunate after the storm on Sunday to find a midweek rental at Timber Ridge in a cottage, and loved it so much once power was restored we decided to extend our stay a couple days! So much to do and see! The kids came too,...

First I have to say that my husband and I grew up camping. We love everything about it. I knew when we started having kids that we wanted them to have the same enjoyable memories that we had growing up. We camp a lot and I can tell you that Timber Ridge is a family favorite. After reading some of...

I wish we had come here when our children were younger! There are several activities for them. We saw dodge ball and a mountain biking lesson. I'm sure there were more. Since we were more inclined on this trip to visit Traverse City, we didn't see the pool or trails. Our visit was only two nights. We chose this campground...

We checked in to Timber Ridge Resort on Sunday July 26 planning to stay a week. We checked out two days later after spending our first day in a local ER due to a biking accident that occurred at the park. My son fractured both his wrist and one was also dislocated after he and his father took a bike...

As "weekend" campers, we've visited Timber Ridge on two occasions with our grandchildren this summer. The campground is fairly well-cared for, campsites are a decent size, and quiet time is at 11:00 p.m.. Although golf cart rental is available, the campground is easily walkable and not so large that a cart is needed. The resort has a wealth of activities...

Tent camped for a friends birthday. Was there for 2 nights. Both were quiet and we felt like our belongings were safe. Bathrooms never had a line and showers had hot water. It's $.50 for a shower though! Left for the day to travel to some winery's and it wasn't a bad drive. We plan on staying again next summer.

“I would suggested a site away from the main play area if you want more quiet.”

“Noticed some spots with cement pads that would have been nicer. Oh, and if you want cable hook up not all spots have it.”

“This is a campground, not a hotel. I suggest looking at the camp ground map and trying to get a corner site, as anything else is very tightly packed with little space.”

“You can't reserve specific sites so you are at their mercy. But we have talked to local folks who get to park their RV on the same site for the season but only pay for the nights they are there. Go figure.”

“We did not stay in a cabin, however there are cabins and park models scattered all over the campground - if you are traveling with someone who has a trailer and you don't, ask for sites near each other.”
