This hotel is definitely historic which is what they claim as their fame. We stayed just because we hadn't experienced the Park Place in Traverse city, and that's what It was an experience. Nothing great yet nothing bad. Rooms small, bathroom outdated, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The roof top bar/restaurant is a nice place to visit but no...

Our friends booked a room here and asked us to join them so we booked one also. Park Place was chosen so we could just walk everywhere we wanted to go. Shopping, restaurants and bars are all right there. The only time we drove was to go to the casino. Our room was wonderful...we booked for the West Wing but...

The hotel itself is quite charming, has a nice lounge, food and room service, nice amenities. However, the rooms were so tiny it felt claustrophobic, the bathroom was so small with a very outdated poor quality shower, and toilet that looked like it belonged in a public restroom. This is all about location, walking to everything downtown is really nice....

We stayed here for the location, which is great, but really liked the room and the service. Really the best part of our overnight was the people that we interacted with. From the front desk to Minerva restaurant, everyone was great.

We have stayed here a few years in a row and I am always very pleased with the service and rooms at the hotel. We had no electricity at home and had to bring our two small dogs with us and they were VERY acomandating. They charged a small fee per night, but made sure we were close to a...

We stayed two night in the old tower. The room was a little small, but that's to be expected in an old hotel. It was very clean and good service. Excellent location to downtown also. Just a couple minute walk to anything you would want.

I called to book a room for my husband's 50th after he came home with the Army. I asked very specifically if they could put us in a nice room. We got there & were put in a small, dirty room overlooking the parking lot. Talked to them & they said that's what I paid for. No special consideration at...

We appreciate your stay at the hotel and are understand your frustration in your comments. The Hotel tries to best to accommodate guest requests, including complimentary upgrades, but sometimes due to occupancy and other factors , it cannot. We hope you can visit Traverse City in the future and will accommodate any request as best we can.

We are four women who get together yearly for a weekend. When I say women I mean we are not in our 30's anymore. We have always chosen Traverse City for the wonderful restaurants and shopping. As well as being a half way for all of us. This was our third annual. We chose this hotel thinking it was so...

The Park Place Hotel values all of our guest experiences. We are sorry if your experience was not enjoyable. The hotel staff does, however, need to address any issues brought to their attention impacting other guests and try to make sure all guests enjoy their stay.

Very friendly front desk service from Denise. She was exceptional and friendly. Rooms were quite pricey and VERY tiny. If you wanted a small continental breakfast you had to pay $8.50 and it didn't seem worth it to us. We did have one bad front desk experience and that was with a gentleman named Curt, he was not very friendly...

While the hotel cannot change the size of the rooms, we strive to make sure all guests have great experiences and apologize that yours was not. We will share your concerns with all staff so that we can do better in the future.

The staff was friendly and the room was cozy and comfortable, what more can you ask from a hotel? Only thing I could say (which did not in any way ruin my stay) was the shower head being too short. I'm pretty tall and I had to duck pretty low to rinse my hair. But that's it! Awesome place to...

We appreciate your visit to the Park Place and the comments you left. The hotel does have plans to renovate its hotel rooms later this year and to increase the height of its shower heads. We hope that you can visit us again.
