We made a last minute trip to Traverse City to view fall color and taste wine. This was the only available accommodation I could find a few days before traveling, so I booked for one night at $330. A bit pricey, but we were pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews. We had a third floor room near the elevator but...

We picked the Park Place due to the location of the hotel. We had a lot of activities planned in downtown Traverse City and it was nice to be able to walk to everything! That was our main rationale for selecting this hotel. Few things to mention; parking late at night on a weekend here is miserable. We literally stalked...

First impression, inattentive front desk, not welcoming to say the least. Just plain unfriendly. OK, checked in anyway, room was somewhat dismal but we didn't spend much time there. Second impression, dinner on Sat night, server, crabby and unfriendly, really?? Food was good though, Manager served it and overall took care of us. Only smile that we received from the...

We elected to stay at the Park Place Hotel because of its location to downtown, well within walking distance of everything. Outside of its location, the Park Place Hotel fell way short of all other expectations, especially for the rates we paid. When we arrived on a Friday afternoon there were 3 employees and a manager at the front desk,...

I expected more for the mid $200 rate. The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The bathroom was very small and had very low water pressure. You can walk to the lakefront or to the downtown shopping area.

Had a two day work outing there. Right in the middle of town if you need to walk everywhere. Front lobby very nice, rooms are average. No view from my room. Bathrooms are small and parking is limited.

We stayed here during a long weekend visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient. Our room was very clean. We stayed in Room 805 and had an amazing view. This is a corner room and we could see the water from both windows. The bed and linens were new and comfortable. We slept great every...

We stayed one night (the Saturday night of Columbus Day weekend). I was shocked that when I reserved it that it was $366, but it was a good location and I figured we would treat ourselves to a nice hotel. It is in a really great location because everything is within walking distance from the hotel. What little interactions we...

No better than an old Holiday Inn. Rooms dated and bathrooms are the same. Poor shower (water pressure) and small TV. When booking room was told that a great balcony was connected....nope. So small could hardly fit two people. Also...parking is very limited. Get to the room later in the evening and you will not find a spot. Nothing good...

This hotel is all about location! Location is great and with in walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shopping. The hotel is currently under renovations. It will be really nice when complete. Rooms were nice, bathrooms outdated. Beds comfortable, food in the restaurant was good and bar on the 10th floor has great views of the bay. Very pretty. Piano...
