Hotel same in person as in pictures. Great service and staff. Bit pricey but great location, far from craziness and traffic during 4th July weekend. Breakfast was also good. Pool and room really clean! Only complaint was the thumping on floor from room above ours at 5 am!!

I recently stayed at this property and cannot think of any complaints! It was under 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City, and very easy to access (right off a main road- but the hotel is tucked back far enough that from our room, we didn't hear any traffic). The complimentary breakfast in the morning was awesome! There was everything you... More

Not bad for a inexpensive/medium priced hotel, but nothing very special either. The room was clean and pretty big. Comfortable bed, free wi-fi, big screen TV, basic bathroom (stingy on the shampoo and soap). This place is located about four miles out of downtown Traverse City, but close to the route to the TC airport. It sits on a hill... More

We recently booked a block of rooms and stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Traverse City, MI for our daughter's "destination wedding". From our first phone calls to get rates and rooms reserved right through our entire stay, the friendly customer service at this hotel was way above expectations! Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay... More

This is one of many several day long stays in the TVC area. I have been consistently impressed with the genuine welcome and professionalism of all the employees. This hotel backs up to a beautiful woods and if you request a room on the back, you'll be delighted by the quiet and view. The hotel is very clean and well... More

My Grandmother and I needed just a one night, handicap room for after her surgery and decided on Fairfield because it was Marriot owned and nicely priced. First of all neither of us have a credit card and they very kindly let us check-in without one or a deposit! Very unexpected, I work at a hotel and we would never... More

My wife and I have stayed at numerous Marriott facilities throughout the United States and Canada, and have never been really disappointed. However, some Marriotts are obviously better than others. This particular Fairfield is one of the better places. It is conveniently located near the Grand Traverse Mall and the Cherry Capital Airport. The facility is well maintained, with a... More

Was in town for the weekend (guys trip). We stayed in a suite, which is very small by suite standards. Had a king-size bed and very small living area, which included a pull-out couch. The suite at the Fairfield is meant for no more than 3 people. Everything was clean. Service was excellent! Every front-desk person on duty was very... More
