We were greeted warmly each time we entered the lobby area, and the 24-hour gift shop was a neat feature. The room itself was decent, and the bed was comfortable. However, we were surprised that there was neither a pool or hot tub at this hotel.

I'm a female business traveler and typically stay at Marriott properties. I decided to try something different. Pluses for this hotel are the staff, very nice and professional. Room service is quick, food is good, room are clean, but seem dated /dark to me and I didn't feel safe. It wasn't that anything was going on, only that the doors...

Dear rrc245, Thank you for staying at the Somerset Inn and for taking time out of your busy schedule to post a review. We certainly appreciate your feedback and we'll be sure to pass along to the staff your kind words of praise. Regarding your concern over the guest room lock -- our locks can be electronically “dead bolted” when...

We were here for one night for an event for my daughter. I live close by and got the room for a place to hang out. The room itself was surprisngly new and clean and well put together. Clearly had been renovated he last few years.. It was on the small side, but more than acceptable for a few nights....

Checked into Somerset Inn a couple of hours ago and already know this is the best experience I will encounter from years of traveling to Troy Michigan. The front desk couldn't have been friendlier. The room is clean, comfortable and well supplied with the needs of a business traveler. Just finished a late dinner at the restaurant with the friendliest...

The hotel is well kept up to date. Clean and good sized rooms. The best part of it is the location. It is conveniently located for meetings in Troy area. And it is walking distance to the Somerset Mall where you can do some luxury shopping and tons of restaurants to choose from.

We stayed here over the weekend for a Convention that was held inside the hotel. The hotel was clean, which is my biggest concern. The beds were also comfortable. The bathroom was fine, we had no issues with water pressure and had plenty of towels. The room got really hot with the heat on, it was ok if the heat...

We had a 1 queen bed room on top floor which has a great view, water pressure was up n down maybe because we were so high up? the halls were rather loud in...

Clean, lots of parking, halls were quiet. The only reason I give this an average is because the fan unit was incredibly noisy. So, I take that back..I have no idea if the halls were quiet because the room was so loud. Hard to even sleep but I needed the fan because otherwise the room would have been a sauna....

During a recent work trip to this area I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel was rather nice. The hotel was clean, comfortable, had an onsite restaurant and was across the street from a fabulous mall. I would definitely stay here again when in the area. The Somerset collection mall was right next door so it offered shopping and alternate...

Staff was friendly. Dated place. Clean room. Complaint was that it was not a good nights sleep (which I assume hotels are for). Lots of noise in room. Bed wasn't comfortable. Acceptable for business travel as s place to sleep but you could do better in the area.

Thank you for your kind review regarding our staff. We couldn't agree more, we have the best staff in the area! On another note, we have just completed a major renovation of our public areas, lobbies and meeting rooms. Were you able to take a look around the hotel to see the wonderful updating that has been done? Perhaps not,...
