Hi Resort 8879, Thank you so much for giving an awesome review about your stay last weekend. You were so much fun at the wine and popcorn hour and at breakfast. Thanks for letting us know about the scavenger hunt to tell other guests that were looking for things to do. Can't wait to have you come back too! Maybe in the spring or summer. It's totally different in the summer and there are more activities to do. But you can relax here anytime of the year and feel right at home. Best, Mary Ann

Hi Bengra999, The Inn is the best place to relax from all the day to day chaos and so happy you never get tired of coming back to stay here and bring friends with you. We love having you stay with us and have stayed in about every room over those 20 years. Can't wait to have you come back again and bring some more friends to the Inn. Thanks for the wonderful review and you can bring the one who asks for extra bacon and whipped cream too. LOL! Best, Mary Ann

We cannot say enough about the warm hospitality we received at this beautiful Inn. It is high class in appearance and amentities but we felt like we knew everyone we encountered like we've known them all of our lives. Even in the cold winter we enjoyed the short walk to the lake

Hi B01Diccy, Thank you so much for the kind words about your stay and hope we will see you again any time of the year. I like it better in the winter too because of the fireplaces and we have more time to spend getting to know our guests. Spring is only 32 days away. The fireplaces don't shut down until April 30th so maybe come back before then. We will still do the 2nd night half off or third day free. Warm hugs, Mary Ann

Another delightful overnight at this charming Inn. Our church sponsors a winter couples retreat in January each year. The common room with comfy couches and chairs is such a relaxing place. Breakfast is always a feast worthy of getting up for. Cocoa, coffee, tea and delicious

Hi Marilyn, It is great having your church group come for a one night retreat every year. We certainly look forward to seeing everyone year after year and meeting new people too. Many of you have come about at least 20 years. Glad we found Les's keys in the drawer. Hope you are enjoying your vacation away from this cold and rainy weather we are having. I hear we are suppose to have an early spring according to the Ground Hog in Pennsylvania and Southern Illinois. We'll have to wait and see I guess. Looking forward to seeing you again next year or stop in over the summer if you get down this way. Best, Mary Ann

Do the rooms have tv's
No TV's but they do have wifi so you can bring your laptap along with some dvd's . and rooms are not handicap friendly as you have to climb stairs to get to them and even stairs to get into the inn. Bathrooms are relatively small. But still the inn was a great stay - we enjoyed it and as Colette said the food was wonderful.

We have a one story building with a ramp leading from behind the Cottage and a ramp over to the main house. The bathrooms have a tub-shower combination with no railings or grab bars and no walk in showers. I would say we are not handicap accessible.
