Great lodge theme with spacious room. Very clean, comfortable bed and flat screen TV. The staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel if staying in West Branch. There is a restaurant attached with good food.
Room was clean but dated. The restaurant served standard fare that was reasonably priced. The wifi was awful, though. I couldn't work from my room and had to sit in the lobby for a good chunk of the evening.
Had a king room--asked for one not facing the indoor pool. They gave me one that didn't, but it was across the hall from one of the floor entrance doors (a heavy fire door that made a loud noise when it closed) as well as...More
Beautiful hotel with country feeling and inexpensive. We received a second floor room with a balcony over looking the indoor pool area which was beautiful. The room was decorated with just enough to make it feel welcoming. The restraunt attached was beautiful. Everyone was friendly....More

The "elevator" was my least favorite thing. Not a regular elevator. A heavy door that opens, then you have to slide open the cage, get in and close the door, then slide the cage shut before it will operate. When you get out, you MUST slide the cage shut before you close the door or the elevator won't respond to the next person who needs it. It feels very claustrophobic... but... it's an elevator. This trip I was with my disabled mother so we had to use it. If not for that I would have used the stairs.
