Spent 2 nights at this fantastic b&b with my partner who suffers from chrohns disease, he was worried about eating away from home but all I can say is a massive thank you to fiona (who was worried about cooking for a chef) ! No need he was very pleased that you went out off your way to accommodate his...

We (my wife, myself and a friend) have just returned from Turnerford after our third stay there - this time for seven nights. As expected the food was superb with Fiona going through the week's suggested menu when we arrived and making changes to it to suit our preferences. Where else do you get that level of service? The food...

Don't get distracted by the footpath sign at the start of the track to this great B&B - just follow the directions Fiona gives and you'll get there safely to receive a warm friendly greeting. The rooms are very comfortable with well appointed en suite bathrooms. One of the advantages of being a drive away from the nearest restaurant/pub is...

One of the best dinners we had during our trip, with the loveliest hosts. The starter was Smoked salmon with a hint of Mediterranean magic, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. All three courses (mains were lamb cooked perfectly with some secret mint and anchovies dressing, sublime!) were very well presented and tasted exquisite. Just when...

Excellent, food, accommodation and hospitality, couldn't have wished for better. A great area for walking also, with the pleasure of returning to a log fire and a great meal. Definitely a MUST for a return visit.

Booked at fairly last minute from an advert in Crossed Grain (coeliac magazine) and didn't disappoint. The track down is not for every car and in the dark may be a challenge but its worth the effort. The hosts are lovely; friendly and welcoming but not over familiar. The room was beautifully appointed and the bed comfortable. The coffee in...

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit here. The guesthouse, with its several neighbours, is in a secluded location at the end of a rather steep unmetalled road which itself is a turning off the moorland road from Clapham to Slaidburn. Paul and Fiona are welcoming and attentive hosts who provide extremely comfortable accomodation in their large stonebuilt home....
