Everything about this Lodge is fabulous. The people, atmosphere, the delicious dinner (while high priced, well worth the 'treat', it was so scrumptious). I highly recommend Cove Point Lodge to everyone!

We got a room with a fireplace and view of the lake. Was nice. The only two things I would change would be the bed. I thought it was hard. And the breakfast had limited selection. The room was clean and the staff was friendly I would go back and recommend this place

We stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 bath Fjord Villa. It was clean and well provisioned. We were missing the menu for the Crossings restaurant which made ordering takeout a challenge, but let the staff know to help the next guests. We found out too late that the front desk will call if the Northern Lights are out, so keep... More

We rented a 3 bedroom 3 bath cottage for a family getaway. The surroundings are fabulous, the cottage was well equipped and beautifully decorated. It's close to Beaver Bay which has a few restaurants and close to Split Rock & Gooseberry Falls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

Properly is right off Hwy 61 along the rocky shores of Lake Superior which includes the eponymous point (complete with narrow trail to explore) enclosing a small cove. There are both cottages and the main lodge (essentially a hotel), which includes the restaurant, pool, hot tub, sauna, and little "shop" in the lobby area. there are bikes available to rent... More

Had a wonderful trip to the North Shore. Cove Point Lodge had friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms, and an amazing view. Perfect place for my yearly retreat. They have 2 restaurants within the area of the lodge. The Crossings had great wings.

Modeled after a Scandinavian fishing village, this charming lodge and cottages makes a nice getaway just 50 miles north of Duluth. Nice views of the lake and nearby hiking and bike trails (bike rentals available at the lodge) and free s'mores kits will coax you out of your comfortable room. Should the weather force you inside you can enjoy the... More

Heard an ad on the radio and checked it sounded delightful. It was just the perfect place to base a trip to the North Shore. Close to everything, laid back quiet luxury. the perfect view of Lake Superior. The staff was wonderful, and the bar and food was delightful We'll certainly be going back!

The hotel rooms at Cove Point were updated and cozy. Great view of the water, comfortable leather love seat, refrigerator, DVD player and comfortable bed. My only complaint would be the pillows. Bathrooms were very nicely updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was unique, but very good. My husband loved the pickled herring. The walk/hike out to... More

This summer/fall we have had three great couple friends visit from out of state and we wanted to show them the splendor of the North Shore and stay in an 'Up North' lodge. Cove Point was the perfect getaway and 'base camp' for our NS exploration. The staff is very knowledgeable and absolutely customer focused. Sitting in front of the... More
