We had an amazing time at Mashkinonje Lodge. First time ice fishing with buddies and we are hooked ;) The lodge was great and everything was prepared for us upon arrival. We've been here before in the summer so we knew the place but in winter this area turns into a winter wonderland...with ice thickness 3ft+ and if you're not careful walking around you will find yourself in waist-high snow - did that too... What an amazing trip, so good in fact we already booked for next year. Great things must be repeated...Thanks Regan & Goldie for a memorable trip. See You soon ;)

It’s apparently a huge park. Not so busy the few times I was there. No main services (no real bathroom, no visitor Centre). There is a lookout point which we couldn’t find, but the walk we took from the highway was nice. A portion of it was “accessible” in that it had an alternative twisty path so that it’s less steep, and a nice boardwalk.

We did not stay on-site..because we were in our RV..but... we were having poor fishing results elsewhere on Lake Nippising.. then we found Regan!!!!. What a great guy and guide. We had a blast fishing with him. We even came back a couple days later and rented boats and went out ourselves. The boats and motors were new.. with live-wells, cushion seats and fish finders.. The fishing was great!! The hosts (Regan and Goldie)... were very hospitable. The fish cleaning facility and restrooms were spotless!!We will be back next year!!!!!

We recently returned from our 3rd trip to the lodge and again Goldie and Regan didn’t disappoint. Attention to detail at every turn from quality boats, to extremely clean cabins. Each time we return, the upgrades are visible and impressive. In a few short years Goldie and Regan have built a loyal following with many repeat visitors again for our week. A wonderful place to fish, boat or just relax. Thursday potluck with the entire camp is a wonderful tradition, plus the delivery of a superb blueberry pie to finish the night is the touch we have come to expect. If finding a back lake to catch a fish or see a moose or simply enjoying a good book on your private deck, look no further than Mashkinonje Lodge! Roger

Been going there renting a cottage for 5 years . Goldie & Reagan are great hosts. Their cottages are neat & clean you couldn't ask for anything more. There is Wifi & T.V.'s, a play ground with a trampoline. You can rent a boat & motor or a pontoon boat. There is a swimming area & a boat ramp.

Another awesome year catching fish, creating memories and escaping the grind of daily life. This is truely a great place to come and unwind. It is very rare to go on vacation and have no complaints, but we did here for the second year. The owners go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met and are constantly making improvements to what is already a great place. Look forward to many more visits for years to come.

Would have never believed that we would catch 41 Walleye on a Friday afternoon/evening in August. Regan had us on the fish within 5 minutes of leaving the Lodge and his technique had even us infrequent fishing dads landing some keepers. Caught three 24" plus, two 18" plus and at least another six 17"(next year's keepers). Kept four beauties for dinner Friday and Saturday... very tasty. Finished off a great father/son weekend with a day of bass fishing out at Regan's favorite spot that he shared with us last year. Lots of fun frogging and caught several good size ones...pictures attached. Looking forward to our next visit with Goldie and Regan.

What an amazing trip! We have a 5 hour drive to get to Mashkinonje Lodge, but it was well worth the drive. Goldie and Regan welcomed us as we arrived, and directed us to our cottage. It was amazingly clean, I haven't stopped bragging about what a clean place they keep. I was shocked at how much they supply, I way over packed. I am extremely picky about my bedding, but didn't use the bedding I brought with me as they supply it all. The beds are amazing. I have to say it's all the little things that add up over the week that make this the special place that it is. We were in cottage 11, which is a 2 bedroom, it is a smaller cottage but with an abundance of storage. The large deck overlooks the beach and was an amazing place to sit every day and enjoy the view. I didn't

My husband, his brother and their Dad came to Lake Nipissing 50+ years ago for fishing and fun. His brother suggested a return with all the family, wives, kids & dogs. The 10 of us came for a family re-union week at the Mashkinonje Lodge. We had cabins #2 & #10 and found them most satisfying. We brought way too much food, luckily our cabin kitchens were up to the challenge and very well equipped for all our meals We went fishing, boating, kayaking, biking and lounged with a book in our hammocks. The cabins were clean and comfortable. The beds were good and everyone slept very well. The fish fry night with music was great as were our hosts, Goldie and Regan. A wonderful week, filled with new memories. We loved it.

We are a group of 13, with3 families, and kids ranging from 4 to 12. We have been travelling every year as a group and try to find a cottage resort that meets all our needs and it is a tall order. Mashkinonje Lodge has done its absolute best to hit all the items on our wish list. First the property and cottages are clean and in great condition. Pride of ownership shows. (we had cottages 4, 5 and 6.) They were well outfitted and comfortable with all the kitchen items needed. Extra pillows, blankets and clean bed linen is provided. All the beds were comfortable and provided a great sleep after a full day. Each of our cottages had a nice deck, patio set and umbrella, as well as a privacy wall. Fire pit was shared by our 3 cottages an was a perfect location for hotdogs and
