Stayed the night while waiting for wife and kids to fly into MSP. I was by the office and it was very quiet. Clean room, they offered coffee, hot chocolate all day. Breakfast was donuts ( not mini size or nasty). Parking lot was well lit. Would stay again if in the area.

Stayed here on a weekend business trip and saw it had decent reviews. Overall the building is a little dated buy the bed and room were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. 24 hour coffee and tea as well as a donut platter in the morning. I would say the best part was relaxing in the hot tub after a long flight from D.C. Would recommended if you're looking for comfort and affordability

The good; the front desk staff was helpful. The room was spacious. The hottub is nice. The bad: the pool is too cold. The beds are Rock solid. My a/c didn't function properly, and the pillows were not supportive or comfortable. The gist: overall it's a nice looking but dated hotel with some problems. If you must get a hotel in Burnsville, and your running low on choices maybe this place might work. But overall I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Our room was clean and comfortable with lots of space, but there were some problems. The room was not fancy and maintenance was a bit lacking. The toilet would not flush when we arrived. I worked on it and got it to flush, but it leaked and ran intermittently all night. There was an electronic beeping noise in the room that we were never able to find. We just masked it with the a/c fan. The room was noisy. Breakfast consisted of donuts only.

Beware! The late night desk clerk (female) has a serious Napoleon complex. Most likely she failed the corrections officer exams. Other than the stench of failure, it’s an okay place. There’s lots of parking in the back.

A budget hotel at a (very affordable) budget price sporting generally budget accommodations. So you will get what you should expect from budget experience. But what made this budget experience worth it for us is what we also consider the essentials- friendly staff, a well kept pool and hit tub, great location close to a ski hill, the southern suburb attractions and easy access to downtown, and a clean bathroom. A few additional things worth noting- we were travelling without a credit card. This hotel was very accommodating to our situation, allowing for a pay when you get there option (or a PayPal option direct on hotwire) and only asking for a $100 deposit, which we got back at check out with no questions asked. And although it does not have a free breakfast, it does offer a fresh donut tray in the morning.

We stayed here for the third time and enjoyed this place each time. The room was quiet and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady at the desk helped us fix the tv in our room. We swam in the pool and sat in the hot tub as well.

So to start with the positive.. Great price, close to the Mall of America with out being in the full city, clean hotel and rooms, friendlyish staff. Now the negative.. Entrance door handle badly damaged, when I reported it to the front desk, I was told yeah we know, you just need to pull really hard downward to get this door to open, nothing was done to fix this in the time we were there. I had my hands full many times during our stay and this damaged door made it very hard to even enter your establishment. Oh and I only found out how to open the dang thing when a very nice construction worker helped me and explained how to do it, yep I still couldn't so he finally felt sorry for me and came and let me in. It was at this point I decided to report this problem. Conclusion problem unresolved. My smoking room was reserved when I booked thru a site back in February, I was told at check in that I can't get a smoking room unless I called and made reservations directly from the hotel, so we were put in a non-smoking room. Fine whatever when it's 11pm and all I want is sleep but come morning I was ready for my car, so I really didn't spend much time in your hotel because I never felt comfortable there. I was never offered to have a room switch, even after I asked. Glad this was the worst problem we had during this trip, so I count it as a win!
