My husband and I spent a long weekend at Nelson's to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. When we arrived, they offered us a larger cabin with a nicer view than our original reservation. The resort and cabins are very quaint, making you feel like you are stepping back in time. We had lunch and also dinner...

Recently stayed at Nelson's Resort with my family and very happy with the stay. We hired a fishing guide for the first day for a nice fishing trip day. The second day of renting a smaller boat for fishing, and the third day renting a pontoon boat. For the size of the lakes, I will rent a pontoon boat for...

We took my wife's parents here for their 50th anniversary dinner. Our young kids love visiting Nelson's as they can play outside before and after dinner. The dinners have always been delicious, many homemade meals and ingredients, vegetables from their gardens, and the service has always been very friendly and accomodating. The Thursday night Smorgasbord is great too, and the...

Rustic cabins, peaceful setting, wonderful restaurant. The fishing was excellent on the chain of lakes. Bring your passport so you can try the Canadian fishing as well. We brought our adult children and they had a fantastic time as well.

Jerry, Brenda, troy, butch, Justin, Amanda are amazing. I have been going since I was 15, I turned 45 this week. My wife and I went here instead of Hawaii and we'd do it again if possible. I own my own restaurant and understand how difficult it is to work with your family. They do it much better than we...

Spent three relaxing days over the Labor Day weekend. Nelson's Resort is an old school getaway; rustic but comfortable cabins on beautiful Crane Lake, anchored by a centrally located restaurant and bar. The restaurant features excellent food at reasonable prices, with your choice of dining room seating or casual deckside dining. Cabins front Crane Lake, with excellent views and swimming....

Had a wonderful time at Nelson's. The cabins are nice and homey. The food is great. The lake is huge and really great for boating and sightseeing and of course- fishing. Nice beach for swimming. Nature trail is perfect for a scenic 1-2 hour hike. Great place for families.

We go back year after year, cannot get enough of Nelsons, Crane Lake, or Voyagers National Park. Food is excellent, cabins are spotlessly clean, the grounds are manicurred better than any golf course. The fishing guides are outstanding and what a treat it is to have a shore lunch prepared by a part time gormet chef. Treat yourself to a...
