Fair Hills is on wonderful Pelican Lake and its a little piece of paradise. You can do as much or as little as you like.. Golf, tennis, water sports, early morning walks or relax with a good book. No stress, no TVs and no better place to spend time with your family. I love the free golf course where you...

My husband and I went to Lake Five for our babymoon. We thought that fully unplugging from our busy lives would be a great option for us, since we couldn't leave the country or go very far as I am in the 3rd trimester. We got the 4 day special, so we didn't break the bank. We also got Cabin...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review Five Lakes Resort and for your kind mention of Fair Hills Resort and the Hootenanny! The two new moms working in the office at the resort want to tell you how jealous they are of the peace and solitude you were able to enjoy at Five Lakes, one of whom...

I grew up going to go to a resort in Michigan called Pennellwood (in the 80’s and 90’s). It closed at some point over the last 10 years and I looked for a similar place I could start taking my kids. Fair Hills was the lucky winner. I won’t do a side-by-side in this review – if you are an...

We were luck enough to go to Fair Hills Resort last summer (2014). Our kids are between the ages of 2-9. All of them had so much fun! Each day the kids would bounce out of bed ready for their next days activities! They had a BLAST! I can't can not say enough good things about the staff, activities, guest...

Fair Hills Resort was a dream vacation for our kids (10, 8, 6, 3) and my husband and I. Our family visited in August 2014 and we loved it so much that we are hoping we can make it a annual summer vacation tradition. The activities for all age groups were so much fun! The staff provided the perfect blend...

My family of 7 from grandparents to granddaughters stayed at Fair Hills in August. We were led to this place because we had stayed at another wonderful family resort in Minnesota years ago (since closed) owned by relatives of the owners of Fair Hills. We were not disappointed! Everything was perfect, including the weather. Lots to do if we wanted...

This resort is modest in appearance but big in heart and soul. The people are friendly and welcoming, and this comment pertains to both the staff and guests. The staff seem to be unruffled by ANYTHING that happens.... and with lots of families with children LOTS can happen. The "un-plugged-ness" of the cabins is part of what makes it work....

We stayed at Five Lakes Resort which is operated by Fair Hills Resort. Lake Five is about 20 minutes from Fair Hills. They own all the housekeeping cabins on the lake and cabins have air conditioning. You get a fishing boat and electric motor with your cabin. Fishing for us has always been good - you always catch something whether...

We attended a wedding that was held at the Fair Hills Resort. This was our first time at this location. What a great little place! Food was wonderful. Staff was very attentive!. It started to downpour as we left the reception to attend the dance. The resort had umbrellas for the quests to use and golf carts standing by to...

“We had cabins 16, 19 and 20 and they were perfect for us. Close to activities (but quiet enough for us), the lodge, a very short hike to the dining hall. Many cabins have kitchens but we loved having 3 meals a day provided for us.”
