Small room, grotty shower, street construction and little lighting in the room. The check in was fast and pleasant, the complimentary breakfast was quite good, and the internet was free and fairly fast. The price was low, and based on the room that is how it should be. I was told that the motel is close to or adjacent to...

Really enjoyed this quaint inn that was easy to find and close to local restaurants. Appreciated the included continental breakfast, the comforts of the room, and the memorabilia of this multi-generation family owned place.

Price just over $100 for a Jacuzzi suite on a Saturday night but it came with free tickets to the zoo across the street so not so bad. Easy check in. Nice place to have a bonfire - wood provided - and even bbq grills available. Place a bit worn down but cozy over all. Free newspaper and breakfast -not...

This is an older motel, but like our homes they have tried to keep up adding some very nice touches. The furniture, linens, towels and appliances are new and refreshed. Our room was clean, and having a bar sink, microwave and small refrigerator were nice. They have decks and firepits for the rooms. The property is located in a great...

My boyfriend and I arrived late (around 1am) and the gentleman on site didn't seem to mind at all us calling and waking him up to let us check in to our room even though he didn't have to! The room was small and cozy, very rustic, very log-cabin feeling. There was a cold draft from the door (that happens...

Seems to be the place to stay for skiing Spirit Mountain or hiking the trails along the St. Louis waterway. I stayed on one of the coldest nights of the winter. The location was convenient for a training and I wasn't in the room much. It was affordable for Duluth and served my needs. My room walked out to the...

This is a nice, clean mom and pop motel. It is a little dated, but very well done. Unique woodworking on all the fixtures in the room and lobby. Continental breakfast is nothing to speak of, but not a deal breaker. A little out of the way for the through traveller, but for skiing, hiking etc. it's very well located....

It was clean, but the decor is pretty rustic. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The price was good, but that should have tipped us off. If you need a clean room and are on a budget stay here, otherwise you might want to look for something else.

In all fairness, I only needed a double bed unit for myself. Having said that, they are incredibly small rooms. While some items were updated well, the carpet was horribly stained and in need of replacement. The continental breakfast was like most others with waffles, coffee, milk, orange juice and the like.

We booked this one-night stay at the last minute and got the only open room. Very basic accommodations and small room with outdoor themed decor. Hot shower, fluffy towels, comfortable bed, air conditioning worked well. We didn't use them but there are bikes you can borrow to ride the adjacent trail. A very good value.
