The motel is old, but clean and in a great location. The roof top patio is very neat, probably even better during the warmer months! Centrally located within easy walking distance of both Canal Park and Fitgers, and lucky for us, right on the Christmas parade route.

Not clean, old and smelly. Suspect one of the bed's sheets weren't clean. Some of the furniture was broken. The view from the deck was good but had to share with the smokers. On site parking was sufficient.

There's a wonderful view of Lake Superior from the balcony. The rooms were clean, came with cable and a small refrigerator. There was a good sized shower stall with a massaging shower head, which we took advantage of after standing for 7 hours for a concert. We did not notice any stale smoke smell as others were saying. We had...

This is a motel vs a hotel, but don't let that distract you from staying there. The rooms were clean, spacious, had all the amenities we needed and came with a great view of Lake Superior. Right in the heart of downtown and only a few blocks from the Lakewalk. And the price was very economical compared to hotels only...

We wanted a hotel that was close to the downtown area and were happy we chose the Voyageur Lakewalk Inn. It was reasonably priced, clean, and the staff was helpful. We'll stay there again in the future.

If you want a hotel that is walking distance to downtown Duluth and Canal Park, this is a good place to stay. Having said that, that is the ONLY positive I saw with this place. We were told they had updated rooms. We did not get them. They still advertise continental breakfast, but do not have it. Our room was...

This place is definitely dated but overall not terrible. The location is excellent with a few patios that overlook lake superior. I liked the motel set up better than your usual hotel as you can park right outside your room if you are on the 1st floor. Also you are walking distance from several things to do. Their description list...

This is the place that my family will not go back to in Duluth. Our room had damp & very strong cigarette smell in a non-smoking room. I think molds were inside the room. My husband had a touch of pneumonia & was coughing hard after staying here. Bed linens smells like a cigarette as if it was not been...

Was given room 103 - ROOM FROM HELL- compressor running constantly - ice machine blocking window. this is not a hotel - this is a flop house for drunks and homeless people. DO NOT STAY HERE- Pay an extra 100.00 and stay at...

We are travelling from Ontario to Alberta so just wanted something for the night that was low cost, clean, comfortable and safe. The price was very much lower than other places in Duluth and it was in a good location in the historic district in walking distance to the Fitger centre where there are restaurants. The room was mostly clean...
