When I had car trouble, the staff put a charger on my car overnight, suggested reliable local repair services, and even offered to get the car in to the shop while I was busy during the day. They went far above and beyond usual hotel service. And the room was spotless. Thank you!

A pleasant surprise for the money and location. Old motor inn (motel) right on the main street in downtown Duluth. Has a fantastic view of the lake and the Aerial Lift Bridge (most famous Duluth landmark) from the observation deck. Free parking, free wifi, palatable free coffee and a pleasant front desk staff. Breakfast isn't, so don't believe what you...

This is a 1950s motel whose primary draw is that it is much cheaper than most nearby hotels but conveniently located on the edge of downtown Duluth, next to the Sheraton. Not all the rooms are up to the same standard. The non-smoking room we initially received (210) had been smoked in at some point; it appeared that an attempt...

The view is spectacular. They have an outdoor deck with unobstructed views of Lake Superior, and it is within walking distance to Canal Park which is a neat place. Smiling and helpful front desk staff. It is a motel. If you need plush accommodations you might want to look elsewhere. For us it was perfect! This place has clean bathrooms...

We have stayed at this adorable small hotel twice now. Small town feel with cute rooms...a little on the vintage side, Great location within walking distance to Canal Park and the casino. Clean rooms, comfortable rooms, friendly staff.

The rooms are clean; beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Management and staff bend over backwards to meet your needs. The location is the best; within walking distance to canal park, casino and downtown Duluth. An added bonus is the rooftop deck, with a breathtaking view of Lake Superior. If you are looking for good value for your money, this is...
