Northern Minnesota is so beautiful and staying at Timber Trails allowed us to take advantage of so much. Though the fishing was poor, everything else about the weeks vacation was great. The staff and accommodations were fantastic. great location. not far from town, but far enough away that you new you were in the wilderness.

Stayed here on one of their specials for 3 days and 4 nights while on a fishing trip. The staff are quite friendly and courteous. The accommodations are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The location on Farm Lake is about 7 miles or so from the nearest town, Ely, and the road running by the resort has very little traffic...

We stayed at Timber Ridge for the first time this year. Highly, highly recommend it. Well-run, very reasonably price and our “cabin” was beautiful! We stayed in the “Blue Spruce. In our group there were 3 couples but easily could have accommodated more. Before we went, I couldn’t find many photos or much information about our cabin so I decided...

What a nice hidden place. We were in the area and looking for a place for two nights. We found this resort and stayed in one of the kitchette motel rooms. They were small and old fashion, clean, well kept and relaxing. The resort also had several larger cabins with beautiful, views We had a chance to visit with other guest...

Stayed here in one of the 4 motel rooms. Room was quaint and comfortable with kitchenette (equipped). Very peaceful family resort with lots of lake access. Great customer service! Pleasant cabins of all sizes, camp grounds, water craft available. So relaxing that we booked up to go back for a week.

We just got back from TTL again and had a perfect vacation! We stayed in The Evergreen Cabin for the first time and it was amazing! The fishing was outstanding. The service was impeccable. Perfection!

Our cabin overlooked the lake with a private dock and fire pit area. It also had a 2nd floor wrap around deck - all of these amenities provided various options of where we could enjoy the view. Inside, the cabin was clean and furnished with log furniture throughout. We especially enjoyed the fire place in the cool mornings (a welcome...

Great location, close enough to town but far enough away. Enjoyed sitting in the adirondack chairs at the end of every day looking out at the lake and listening to the loons. We stayed in Red Pine and enjoyed the location-neighbors only on 1 side. Although some of the cabins seemed close to one another, it was very quiet. The...

My husband and I spent a few nights here last summer, and we were so impressed with the outgoing and friendly service of our hosts and the staff. Our little cabin had its own dock, and we rented a canoe from the outfitters for the time we were there. Delivered to our dock, it was very convenient not to tie...

We have been coming here on and off for over 40 years. It continues to impress me more yearly. The Forsberg's (owners) continue to improve the resort for a true rustic experience. We will be back again!!!
