We have never been up to Ely and are wanting to do some canoe fishing along with fall leaf color looking. Is this a huge lake? We are wanting something kind of mid size to small.

I would say peak color was 1-1 1/2 weeks ago this year. We've had a warm October up until now. I would say Farm Lake is a mid-size lake. We are also across from Entry Point 31 (N Kawishiwi River) in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness which is great for a day fishing trip out of a canoe.
