Adventure Inn is an earth-friendly, sustainable motel that is dedicated to reducing their energy foot print while providing comfort to their guests. A family run motel. We now have a brand new energy efficient solar thermal building with earthy comfort in mind. Quiet, comfortable with platform beds, hand made furniture, down blankets and pillows. We also have 2 brand new jacuzzi suites. The old economy building no longer exists and we are in the process of rennovating the 10 yr old back building.

I am rating this a 2 only because of how paper thin the walls are. You could hear talking as if they were in the same room as you, It was a slow time of the year so not many people so can't imagine what it would be like if the place was filled, especially with kids. There was

We stayed here in July 2018 after a week in the BWCA. We had the big room with four queens for 6 of us, and I've not slept more comfortably in any other bed at any hotel. The sheets and pillows are not usual industry sheets, soft and comfortable like you'd put in your own home.

Went to Ely for a few days to bring my relative back to Texas. I received a very nice room that looked like it had been renovated. The bathroom looked updated and was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Even though it was below zero outside, my room stayed comfortably warm. They

Thank you for your kind words. We do try hard to make improvements every year. Also, we do have some of the best cleaning staff in town. Everyone here at the Adventure Inn is dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible.

I was a longer term visitor while volunteering at the nearby North American Bear Center. The rooms are comfortable and clean plus the verandah areas outside are excellent for drinking your morning coffee (provided in the lobby every morning). The owners and staff are friendly

Thank you for your kind words. All of us at the Adventure Inn do care about our guests and their comforts. We are not a fancy full service hotel (Ely is remote) but try hard to make your stay a good one. We especially appreciate volunteers for both the International wolf Center and for the North american Bear center. To travel this distance to volunteer for either institution is dedication at it's best. Thank you again for your kind words.

Stayed in Ely an extra night after a canoe trip and decided to try Adventure Inn. I was very happy with my stay. Nice, tiled floors in entry and bathroom, clean carpet in rest of room. Sheets and pillows were fresh and clean. The comforter has a pattern on it and, when you first

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We regularly wash the duvet covers, so no worries there. We do not have an ice machine (energy hogs and harbors of bacteria) but do have ice and ice buckets in our office. I am happy to hear your stay was comfortable and that you would stay with us again.

I've been in neither but have stayed in "The Squirrel's Nest". It's cute with a quilt with squirrels on it and other themed furnishings. I always stay with them and really have liked this hotel over the years. Definitely go to the wolf center. It's really cool. I have not been to the Dorthy Molter museum but hear it is very nice. My favorite outfitter is Redrock but others probably are as good. This is a fabulous town and place and expect you will have a great time.
