We were greeted by Lynda, when we arrived and made to feel very welcome. This was a surprise for my wife's birthday , and it was pretty good for me as well ! Set in a little piece of quintessential English countryside . The food was superb quality and plenty of variety . We went to the Swan pub in...

My wife and I have just returned home from a perfect one night stay at Rookery Barn. Lynn and Tony were the most attentive hosts and made every effort to ensure our stay was the best including catering for every wish at breakfast. We were accommodated in 'Pebbles' on the ground floor - a very cosy room, spotlessly clean, and...

Having just spent two nights at Rookery Barn whilst visiting family in a nearby village, we would not hesitate to stay there again. Great location, lovely accommodation, outstanding quality breakfast and a very warm welcome from owners Lynda and Tony. Thanks very much and we look forward to a return trip in the summer!

Generally we know what is good and what is not so good, Tony and Lynda are at the top of the tree and provide...

We spent two nights at Rookery Barn. The accommodation is of the highest standard; the breakfasts are excellent; and Lynda and Tony are friendly, welcoming hosts. We stayed in Driftwood which is the large upstairs room with a huge comfortable bed. There is a separate bathroom on the same small landing. This area is entirely private so it's like having...

Nothing to say apart from every aspect of this B&B being truly excellent from the welcome by Tony and Linda to the room, to the breakfast. I am known as being fussy but I had absolutely nothing to complain about at all. Loved it!

We travelled to a family wedding and booked two rooms for two nights at Rookery Barn. Both of the rooms are extremely comfortable, the downstairs room having a private terrace within beautiful gardens, which on a summers day was an added bonus. Tony and Linda couldn't have looked after us any better and breakfast was excellent. This is high end...
